South France in winter, is a romantic movie!

December in south France is not cold at all, perhaps because of the off-season, there are not many tourists on the street, but the sun and sea are still super beautiful, it is difficult to imagine what the summer of Marseille will be beautiful, so I continue to punch.

Went to Marseille for a school event this week! There were a lot of people on the sea sightseeing, but unfortunately, there was a rainstorm when we started...

But the captain was super calm (the French were too relaxed hhh) and calmly walked the whole way while telling us to slide carefully. (We all thought we might return early).

So - we were all wet, and we stood firmly at the front of the crowd so as not to miss the view: the chilly wind and rain were patting our faces!!

But I think this is very romantic!! I still want to poke my head out to see the lightning that may appear at any time in the turbulence, and when I pass a sea with extremely low visibility, I suddenly think of the legend about the Bermuda Triangle that I read when I was a child (enfp who will add drama to myself). Although I wear makeup, I still want to scream when the rain hits my face and brings a refreshing feeling... And finally, in the midst of all the chaos, the captain plays "Bad Romance" and starts the entire ship singing! Should I say that the French really understand the atmosphere...

Finally is very embarrassed ashore and experienced the city waterlogging. This is really getting me angry. The infrastructure in Marseille is the kind of thing where I can't walk through water without screaming about the Chongqing dialect.

All in all, it was a worthwhile trip! Thank you AMU!!

Old Harbor - Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Guardian

You can take a small train directly from the old port to the sanctuary of Our Lady of the Guardian along the way will pass the coastline, the residents alleys up the hill, the temple free tickets, you can freely visit, in the observation platform can see the whole panorama of Marseille. The train runs half an hour, and at the end of the tour, take the train down the hill. The train is cash only, 9 euros round trip.

Old Harbour - Longchamp Palace

The small train back to the old port can take a taxi directly to the Longshang Palace. I think it's worth it. It's less crowded than the Trevi Fountain. There will also be many local couples taking wedding photos at Longshang Palace. Behind it is a park with a so-so view.

Longchamp Palace - Little Arc de Triomphe - Main Church of Marseille

You can take a citywalk from the Palais Longchamp, the main Church of Marseille is near the Old Port, and you can see the little Arc de Triomphe along the way, as well as many interesting shops, street paintings and markets.

🍽️ : There is a delicious crepe near the main church of Marseille, which is opened by an old grandfather. The address is 27 Rue de l 'Eveche, 13002. The street is colourful and photo-friendly.

I walked down the street to a random restaurant and ordered a seafood platter and marseille bouillabaisse. The taste is normal, the seafood may be out of season and not very fat, the main try, address is 23 Pl. de Lenche, 13002

Marseille is small enough for a citywalk day. The vibe throughout the city is really laid-back. I heard before I came to Marseille that the public security is more chaotic, but I think it is OK, walking together, not to look at the small alleys that are very dangerous, really there are not so many bad people.
