See exhibitions in Seoul | Experience contemporary art at the National Museum of Modern Art

Personally in the domestic to see the exhibition is not much, also is not a professional, fortunately met "What Things Dream About" a Korean explanation, simply record the thought of the time.

I really like the window view of the MCCA's large floor-to-ceiling Windows, and the shops in the museum are also worth visiting. The exhibition pass costs 4,000 won.

There are about eight exhibition halls, and there is a scanning machine at the door of each exhibition hall, and you can go in by scanning the ticket with the two-dimensional code. There are also staff at the door of the exhibition hall, if you don't understand, ask them directly, they are very friendly Korean little sister!! Don't hesitate to ask.

The art museum also changes exhibitions every once in a while. You can search the theme of recent exhibitions online. It has a large space and many interactive exhibitions. The art exhibitions in each country and city are very different.

1.Back To the Future (2023.06.16-2024.09.08)

In this part, you can see a lot of media art, expressed through different images, and visitors can immerse themselves in the experience by wearing headphones. To be honest, I personally do not understand it. On the contrary, there are several works that record the story behind the development process of South Korea.

2.What Things Dream About (2024.05.17-2024.09.18)

It mainly presents artists' attention to objects, which is different from anthropocentrism, and more about the origin of objects, the relationship between humans and objects, and the future.

The exhibition is divided into three themes, one is "the world of things", in which you can see many different materials and substances around you. For example, one wall in Figure 10 shows clocks, chairs and sockets made of plastic, etc. In Figure 11, images are also used to show the production process of Astro Boy, which is loved by everyone in childhood. Louis Armstrong's What a wonderful world is playing in the background.

The second is "invisible relationship". The most impressive work is a short film by an artist, who connects the small commodities in Yiwu with a similar 2-yuan supermarket in the United States. The narrator mentioned the connection between three cities, but he could not remember the details.

The video also shows the breadth of China's manufactured exports and the close economic ties between countries around the world. Of particular interest is the fact that entering the room where the video is being watched requires passing through a curtain made of sequin ribbons.

The third is "What kind of future". The works seem to be the buildings around us, but in fact they do not exist. The artists use the elements of laser light to make imagination about the future.

3.For All That Breathes On Earth 이 땅에 숨 쉬는 모든 것을 위하여 (2024.04.05-2024.09.22)

This solo exhibition showcases the works of Youngsun Jung, the first female landscape architect in Korea, and introduces the projects of the Olympic Park Art Museum, Sculpture Park, and Daejeon World Expo Park, which have been built since the 1980s. The records are very detailed, including design drawings, micromodels, and real pictures.
