churchill was so much fun, I would recommend it to everyone! Every year from mid-October to mid-November, hundreds of polar bears gather here as the sea freezes to catch seals, thunderbirds, snow rabbits and foxes run everywhere, the sunrise is so saturated that it seems like a P, and the night is covered by a huge aurora that covers the entire head. It's wonderful.

Tours here are mainly divided into van and tundra buggy, which are completely different experiences and both are fun:

▪️ car can get off to shoot, the main photography group, the guide is responsible for finding a bear for us to find a position to control the safe distance, lucky bear will come to us, the guide will first let you back to the door, and then approach to drop the tripod immediately get on the bus, quite exciting!

▪️ The tundra car can not get off during the journey, only the window can be opened, it is not convenient to support the tripod, and the shooting basically needs to be held in hand, but it can be parked directly in front of the bears. Moreover, there is an area in the reserve that only the tundra car can enter, where they often can see playing and fighting, which is also very worth going to

For this trip with reference to @Linksphotograph, we chose the seven-day car package of kischikamee wildlife adventure, and added a day tour of tundra cars in the middle, which was a great experience!

Guide Norman, born and bred, has been a bear guide for 25 years, and is very good at predicting the bear route, taking us up close and positive to get a lot of precious images!

When I went to watch the aurora at night, I would always sweep the grass with my flashlight to prevent bears from suddenly approaching. Group members are photographers, all strong and good, everyone Kuang kuang to each other, tears for the first time to see such, from the group brother Peter Hong and Guowei Lee.

Another company called north star tours looked good, often in the key scene to see their car to come, but they said that they envy us have the highest van in the town, the reserve is originally offroad, a snow and ice road is rotten to no good, but our car can pass anywhere, and often rescue other groups trapped in the car.

churchill transportation is very inconvenient, can only be arrived from Winnipeg by plane or train, so must first to Winnipeg, multi-stage plane wine plus daily bear tour, night aurora group also have to report a single, the workload is huge.

The package we booked includes round-trip air tickets to churchill in Winnipeg, accommodation, airport transfer, bear watching sunrise and aurora and breakfast every day. We just need to buy a round-trip air ticket to Winnipeg by ourselves. For dinner, we can order takeout at the Shenyang owner's house in the town, where steamed dumplings are delicious. The food and lodging in town are all right, better than I expected!

churchill's polar bear season is only five weeks a year, with a short window and very limited transportation and accommodation, so be sure to book at least six months in advance if you want to go!
