Mount Royal Park
Standing at the summit of Mount Royal Park, Kondiaronk Belvedere is definitely a good place to take a photo!
This observation deck is located at the summit of Mount Montreal and offers stunning views over the city. From here, you can see the St. Lawrence River, Old Montreal, and the tall buildings in the distance.
We chose to walk directly up the hill from the McGill campus, which took about twenty minutes. The visitor center on the observation deck sells food and drinks, as well as souvenirs.
Best of all, admission to this observation deck is completely free. No ticket required, you can come anytime, anywhere to enjoy this beautiful scenery, get close to nature, and feel the unique charm of Montreal!
Montreal Museum of Natural Biology
The pavilion is a bit like a cross between a botanical garden and a zoo. The penguins are so cute!
【 Address 】Biodome
4777 Avenue Pierre-De Coubertin
Montreal, QC H1V 1B3
Look at the picture to know that the light is super good for taking pictures and punching in haha. And then the penguins are so cute and the beavers are trying to figure out their hands while they're swimming. There are also a variety of birds that are perfect for taking children to play.
Or with friends and couples, this time I went with a friend who can't take pictures at all, but also a lot of pictures can be seen how good it is!
Especially when the entrance to the Penguin House is full of ice and there's no p and it looks like its legs are two meters long.
[Need to book online in advance]!!!
Montreal Museum of Fine Arts
Art museum punch card Picasso Monet, authentic
If there's a place to go in Montville, I think the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts must be on the list.
Address: 1380 Rue Sherbrooke O, Montreal, QC H3G 1J5. It was a little difficult to park around, so we circled around a few times before we found a parking space.
Ticket price: $24 for adults, reservation required. But here's the kicker: First Sunday of every month, free, no reservations required. But there are a little too many people, if you like it very much, you should still buy tickets within the week, and come when there are fewer people.
The museum has several halls. Over the weekend, I only visited the pavilion for peace (circled in Figure 2), which has a lot of collections. I can't even see it.
The first floor is modern art. Picasso, Monet, Matisse are all on this floor.
On the second floor are works in the style of Rococo and Baloch, as well as items from Napoleon. Picture 6 shows the boots worn by Napoleon and picture 7 shows the cutlery he once used.
The third floor is dominated by art from the Dutch glory period. When you look at the paintings, it's very Dutch, very Rembrandt.
The fourth floor is mainly composed of medieval works, many religious paintings and sculptures, which are very sacred.
In general, very recommended, but free day too many people, in fact, a little frivolous. If you really like art friends, in fact, you can spend a day here.
And I love the fact that Leonard Cohen's mural is right down the street from the gallery. I was looking for it, and it was a breeze.
Finally, I recommend another Bagel, which is also very famous. It's a 10-minute drive from the gallery. His name is St-Viateur Bagel. The address is 263 Rue Saint-Viateur O, Montreal, QC H2V 1Y1. Those who love bagel must not miss it. They only take cash, by the way.
Montreal Paddleboard /Kayak Luminous Lake view fireworks
It turns out that there are other such treasures near Montreal, in the small town of Venise, a 50-minute drive south, on the shores of the huge Lac Champlain Lake, which stretches 172 kilometers into the United States and is suitable for all kinds of water activities in the summer. The "O Lac" water sports Center on the lake will organize the luminous lake excursion. In past years, there will be fireworks during Quebec's provincial celebration, and you can see on the lake this year's 2024 activity list has not yet come out. You must be over 18 years old to participate in the night tour
