As a person who did not have much interest in insects, I was shocked by the whole insect museum located in Montreal!

It can be said that this curator is very good, the whole process of watching the exhibition is very, very smooth, full of rhythm, let people feast their eyes!

Established in 1990, the Entomological Museum is the largest insect-themed museum in the Americas, dedicated to displaying the diversity of insect species, introducing their important role in the earth's ecological environment, and guiding visitors to protect insects and live in harmony with nature.

The museum was founded by Canadian entomologist Georges Brossard, who first met with Pierre Bourque, director of the Montreal Botanical Garden, in 1985 and expressed his desire to create an insect-themed museum. At the impetus of Pierre Bourque, the Canadian government agreed to build an insectarium on a vacant lot near the Botanic Gardens. In 1987, Georges Brossard donated his entire collection of insect specimens to the City of Montreal to form the foundation of the museum.

There are four main sections of The insectarium: The Alcoves, Tete-a-Tete, The Dome and the Great Vivarium. They follow a continuous path: first enter The Alcoves, taking you to experience the perspective of the bees inside the hive, and instantly enter the atmosphere of the cave exploration!

36 insect display cases show you 3000+ insect specimens, arranged according to the color code of the rainbow, each display case is like a painting, let people see!

Then there's Tete-a-Tete, a room with six glass display cases that display some interesting insects - some you need to look closely to find insects from the environment, because the two are so similar! Some insects are like leaves, others like orchids......

And then there's The Dome, the centerpiece of this pavilion! The 36 insect display cases show you 3000+ insect specimens, arranged according to the color code of the rainbow, each display case is like a painting, it is a dizzyingly dazzling! (For those of you who didn't have a chance to see it live, you can take a look at the photos I took to see these amazing insects, as my friends and I marveled at the creation of the Creator).

Finally, I entered the live butterfly reserve in the greenhouse. Although I was a little uncomfortable with the hot time compared with the cave in front of me, it was really a pleasure to observe the butterflies flying or stopping up close! The whole process took about an hour, and I didn't feel tired at all. I even want to see it again. From the heart to recommend to travel to Montreal friends, the absolute winter indoor place!
