Halifax, a town that never ceases to amaze me!

Flying across Canada from Victoria to Halifax...

Very good place is that the scenery on the plane from the islands, snow mountains, grass, sunset, sunrise so transition, to see the changes in the Canadian landscape is quite amazing, in addition to a bit of waste, after all, the time difference is still four hours, the first day when I came to the night did not sleep, and then drink coffee dizzy bus, to the city center vomited for half a day, really tired.

The weather is perfect today, so all kinds of boats are out on the waterfront and the photos are great.

This city surprises me everywhere. In fact, I did not have great expectations before coming here. From the history, to the scenery, to the villas here, many places have their own unique features.

Waterfront

Sunny day is very out of the piece, sitting on the beach on the deck chair, blowing the sea breeze to see the boat is very comfortable, there are many restaurants around, sitting outside to eat a meal and drink a small wine feeling is still good, spend $2.75 can ship to the other side.

Maritime Museum of the Atlantic

The museum has the original Titanic, introduces the Halifax's maritime history, has some famous ship models and introductions, those models are really beautiful, it is hard to imagine how impressive the real ship, like history and sailing can go to see.

The first floor exhibits the history of the Canadian Navy and the history of Halifax. One of the most impressive examples is the Halifax explosion of 1917, which had a huge impact on Halifax. The second floor mainly displays various steam-age ship models and objects. The famous Titanic exhibition area is also located on the second floor, showing the fact that Halifax is the closest port to the sinking of the Titanic.

Art Gallery of Nova Scotia

This art museum is also beyond my imagination, divided into two galleries, the north and the south. On the negative ground floor, there is an exhibition hall that you need to hold a lamp to look at, which is quite interesting. There is also an artist who paints such lovely paintings that I like very much. It has been under renovation for the first half of 24 years, recently reopened, and now has events on Thursdays that are free to visit.

The museum is divided into two buildings, the north building is still under renovation and can only be accessed from the south building. The underground level is connected. Most of the work is by artists from Canada, especially Nova Scotia. One of the exhibits that impressed us was the VampSites exhibition. The exhibition hall is on the ground floor, and the exhibition is very carefully arranged. I can fully feel the imagination and surrealism of the work.

Public Gardens

It was a very special garden, I saw flowers that I had never seen before, there was a pond with a model of the Titanic, it was worth a visit anyway! This summer there is live every Sunday from 3:00-4:00 PM, mostly for older people, just in line with my idea of retiring in place hahahaha, this afternoon lie down and enjoy live "life is worth it" in the pavilion.

Peggy's Cove

I debated whether to go or not, asked the Ambassatours group, the same Ambassatours said $92 one place, $77 one place, 4 hours, 2 hours round trip, those who wanted to go suggested asking the price well to avoid being cheated.

🐷The Bicycle Thief

Always love the restaurant, before returning to eat again. Everything I ordered was delicious and I liked the atmosphere.
