This is the fairy tale cabin!

The forest, the sun, the pond and the cabin, this is to live in the Wizard of Oz's dream!

🔍Mono-Cabin in the Woods

Escaping the hustle and bustle of the city, I stepped into the Mono-Cabin in the Woods around Toronto, which is like a fairy tale world! It is located in a quiet small farm, gently surrounded by lush trees. Just over an hour's drive from Toronto, you can reach this paradise.

Address: 207535 ON-9, Orangeville, ON L9W 6J3 Canada

The cabin itself is small and warm, and the retro decoration makes people instantly travel back to the old time. The small pond in front of the house, which is crystal clear, looks like a sapphire inlaid in the green field, which adds a little romance after the rain. Here, you can take a leisurely stroll, listen to the sounds of nature, or sit in front of the wooden house, holding a cup of hot tea, enjoy a moment of peace and beauty.

A little over an hour's drive from Toronto, this cabin has a sense of isolation! The cabin is located in a small farm in Mono, surrounded by tall trees, very quiet, in front of the house there is a clear small pond, like a sapphire, the dog here can be too happy, all over the farm run!

The cabin is small and warm, and the decoration is very retro, which reminds me of the stories of the first people who lived here.
Live two days in the rain, did not expect a different kind of romantic, watching the rain drip fell on the water, with the sound of rain to sleep.
The next day up the air is very fresh, sighed in the heart, here leisurely for a long weekend is also a happy thing.

Orangeville town hanging out, highly recommended at the Thrift Store, I found Wedge Wood's Peter Rabbit collection!

Mono Cliffs Provincial Park

Located in a provincial park near orangeville. The area of the park is very large, and several small ponds are scattered in the scenic spot. The trees along the pond are lush and the scenery is pleasant. There are many apple trees in the park.

Tickets are not required, but parking is reserved. There is a link to the official website on Google map, booking a day in advance should have a location, select the corresponding period, each period of 4 hours. To book in advance online, Daily vehicle permit (DVP) is $8.5 / per vehicle.

There is also a free parking space at the Mono community center (thanks to other bloggers for sharing, it is very convenient). There's plenty of parking, and there's a portable public toilet next door. From the parking lot, cross the street, one of the entrances to the park is at the blue arrow, and walk for 3 minutes.

Suggested tour route: If you go from the free parking lot, first go to the bottom of the map of the park (it is recommended to collect in advance, the mobile phone signal of the scenic area is not good), then you can tour along the green cliff top side trail, and arrive at the Stairs of the viewing platform, which is a highlight of the scenic spot. There's a viewing platform. Then you can take the blue Walter tovell trail back, the blue trail is much easier, it is downhill, green and blue lines meet, there is a pond, very beautiful, don't miss, so the whole trail down about 2 hours.
