The kid-friendly Dresden Transport Museum Learn about Made in Germany
The Transport Museum in Dresden, a small exhibition, focuses on the (general) history of transport development, and (more detailed) changes in modern transport in Saxony and even Germany (much of the automobile industry came from here), and the continuous development of new technologies in various cars, locomotives, flying vehicles, shipbuilding, and so on. Finally, the traffic design in urban development is explained. During the arrangement of a lot of interactive games and exhibits, it is very interesting to bring children to visit. The tour lasts about two hours.
Praise, walking baby recommended.
The German Health Museum at the Dresden Museum
The Deutsches Hygiene Museum is a museum dedicated to health, medicine and the human body. The museum was founded in 1912 by Karl August Lingner with the original purpose of popularizing health knowledge, especially to raise public awareness of tuberculosis.
It feels like a relatively unpopular museum, and the architecture is not as high-end as other art museums, but it is still worth visiting, especially for families with children, and the interactive installation and a children's sensory experience area are very good! It's highly recommended.
There's a sale on Friday afternoon! Postcards are half price too! Recommendation is very personal ha ha ha! There are many interactive devices that can provide a deeper understanding of the body's senses and the various historical processes of health development
Dresden follow the trend glutinous rice cake accidental discovery
I wanted to buy a little, but they sold it by the strip, and they took a few others. This is a box for 17 euros
Glutinous rice cake: Jasmine flavor is very strong, but no chewy, the inside of the sandwich is a layer of taste, a bit like milk skin, wet and soft, eat a piece is enough, will not buy back.
Cream tower: Delicious! On the outside, the skin is crisp, and the texture is between the pineapple crisp shell and the Hong Kong egg tart shell. It's a soft, waxy cream, it's more textured than cream cheese, it's a real texture, it's not very sweet. Really found the treasure!
Pistachio triangle: Outside is fried noodles, wrapped in a lot of pistachio. I personally don't like nuts, not very much, and they have a strong taste of butter.
Pistachio cubes: Much tastier than triangles, with a nougat texture and creamy flavor. The taste is relatively fresh, no butter, sweet, and very strong pistachio aroma.
On the first evening, I stood in line for 15 minutes, and the glutinous rice cakes were sold out before me. Please go to buy them early!
My cry! A fairytale town that heals everything
Colorful half-timbered houses and winding cobblestone streets. It is quiet and quaint here, you rarely see tourist buses coming from afar, and you will be greeted by the friendly smiles of the town people.
Idstein, a German town full of fairy tales. When the weather is fine, you can take a leisurely walk here. Or find a street cafe and sit down. Idtsein will be your best day trip from Frankfurt.
Idstein is small enough to visit on foot
Kings Square: The main square of the old town, dating from the 15th to 17th centuries, has fine shops, restaurants and cafes
Killingerhaus: The most beautifully decorated house in Iderstein, with many carvings on the front in mint green
Cafe Zum Lowen: This cafe dates back to around 1350 and is across from the curving house
"Das Schiefe Haus" (Curved house) : This is a whimsical building painted bright blue with yellow window frames
Hexenturm: Also known as the Witch Tower, this fairy-tale town was once a witch hunting ground, and the Hexenturm is the oldest building here, dating back to 1170, and is a symbol here
Cobblestone alleyways: The old town of Idstein is lined with ornate half-timpaneled houses, with goosestone floors
Go to the Witch Fair: Every spring, there is a witch fair with medieval handicrafts for sale and entertainment
