Schnorr is a medieval neighborhood in Bremen named after the traditional rope-making industry that once flourished here. Today Schnorr has become a gathering place for artists and other creatives, with many well-preserved houses from the 15th to 18th centuries, many cafes and craft shops.

Botelstrasse was converted into a museum street in 1926-31 and is one of Bremen's main attractions. Although it is only 100 meters long, the avenue has many unusual expressionist buildings. It is also home to the Paula Becker Modersen Museum, the world's first gallery dedicated to the art of single women, which is well worth a visit.

The old town, which dates back to the 13th century, is named for the wooden piles that were driven deep into the ground to support the banks of the river. After much revitalization, it is now a scenic place to spend some time. Stroll along the river promenade or stop for a drink at one of the many cafes and restaurants located in the day warehouse.

6️⃣ Bremen Art Museum

Located in the heart of Bremen's Old Town, the museum opened in 1849 and houses a large collection of fine Dutch paintings from the 17th century, as well as many German masters dating back to the 14th century.


7️⃣ Universum Bremen, Center for Space Sciences, Bremen

The Bremen Space Science Center not only looks interesting on the outside, it is also an interesting scientific world inside, with more than 250 exhibitions covering the topics of technology, humanity and nature. If you are visiting Bremen with young children, do not miss this attraction.
