I'm really impressed, Arkki! It was so much fun!

After having children, I also began to think about what is aesthetic education and what kind of artistic enlightenment is the best. It is to explore the world, to be unrestrained, to break the inherent thinking to create and feel the world and express it in their own way. At a lower age, it's more important not to "teach" but to "immerse"!

What surprised me about this visit to Arkki school in Finland was that I did not expect that Guangzhou actually had such a creativity education class!

Their internationalization, the concept of "architecture and design" as the starting point, and the concept of cultivating children's creativity are very touching to me. The theme of this visit is to explore the snow house (due to the natural interdisciplinary nature of architecture, the ideal carrier of integrating humanities, history and social sciences) so that children can swim in the ocean of knowledge of various subjects.

In this class, with sugar cubes as the carrier, the teachers guided the children to design their own igory buildings. In the most stable buildings, how to place and stack sugar cubes, the teachers explored design thinking, practiced the ability to solve complex problems, and created buildings that belonged to the children's hearts. 👍 👍

For the snow house made by the child, she explained it like this: This is the magic hotel snow house that I built, the whole building is super high, people can live in it, there are a lot of rooms, there is a pool garden and everything, my parents and I can live in it happily.

It occurred to me that not long ago, I took her out to play and chose a hotel that was very like a castle, and it also had an infinity pool, ha ha ha ha, it turned out that she liked the architecture of the hotel. The course inspired her to think, speak, and act. It was an immersive experience, and the kids were more focused and fun than traditional classes.

Thinking about the future, won't we need more talents in creativity, communication skills and complex problem solving skills?

Arkki Finland is currently only in Guangzhou Ersha Island community, strongly recommend sisters to take their children to try!

In addition, there are reading areas and works exhibition areas on campus, which are also very friendly to children and really love them.

In the curriculum system of Arkki, a variety of programs and courses are offered, suitable for children of different ages. Here are some of the main programs and courses:

Architecture and Design courses: These courses cover everything from basic design concepts to complex architectural projects and are designed to develop children's creativity and logical thinking through practical operations and projects.

Workshops and short courses: Arkki regularly holds workshops on a variety of topics, such as green building, sustainable design, technology and innovation, so that children can experience and learn about specific topics in a short period of time.

School Cooperation Projects: Arkki works with schools to provide extra-curricular activities and courses to enrich the curriculum and enhance students' creative and hands-on skills.

Summer Camps and Vacation Programs: During the summer and other holidays, Arkki organises creative camps and short programs where children can learn and explore new knowledge and skills in a relaxing environment.

Family and Community Programs: Arkki also offers a number of family and community programs that encourage parents and children to participate together and strengthen parent-child relationships through shared creative activities.
