🏰 Recommended attractions:

📍 TurnerContemporary
Rendezvous, Margate CT9 1HG

The gallery is not much smaller than I expected, but it has some interesting exhibitions, most recently a Turner Prize winning exhibition. Right through the door is this iconic window, from which you can see Antony's iconic work by the sea. This window is really good to sit and stare at, and the gift shop here sells beautiful souvenirs, so it is worth it to find a nice day to see the exhibition and walk on the beach.

📍 Shell Grotto
33 Grotto Hill, Cliftonville, Margate CT9 2BU

It's a cave. The whole museum is filled with shells.

In 1835, the inhabitants of Margate stumbled upon the curving chalk walls of the underground shell Grotto, inlaid with 4.6 million shells. They created a magical Mosaic of strange patterns and symbols, many of which looked very much like altars. There was much debate and speculation about the grotto, but it was a unique work of art, regardless of its age or origin. Should be valued and preserved.

📍Margate Beach

Winter is not the time to go to the sea, but it is still the most beautiful east coast of the sunset to be speechless, the sun's afterglow falls on the coastline and the sparkling sea, the golden glow is fleeting. Who said the sea around London is not beautiful, shallow step on the fine sand, light smell of the sea,The weather was different that day, so the ocean was a different color in the photos.

📍Vintage shop area

There are many medieval shops in this area, compared with London, I think the price is reasonable, you can pick and play, kill time in the afternoon, you can look for jewelry.

👉 Madam Popoff Vintage
This is all down the favorite one, there are some shirts and jackets, and some skirts, a lot of things can be slowly picked. I ended up buying a cape coat, and I really, really liked it.

👉King‘s Emporium
The main items are some second-hand furniture, cups, ornaments, jewelry, clothes, and some second-hand records and CDS. The owner had a small white dog with a careless, indifferent look on his face, but in short, it was very interesting.
