Summer is here, the most comfortable season of course is to go out for a walk! On a sunny day, I hiking with my classmates around London. Tring is definitely one of the most interesting lines. After hiking, Balcombe was boring.
🏃🏻♀️Hiking routes: Tring, Ivinghoe Beacon and Ringshall Circular
Tring has been a market town since 1315. Red brick single family house, separate pedestrian/bike path on the road, well maintained Tring park. The overall feeling is a very safe and wealthy town!
Just take the 38min train from Euston-Tring, the roadside scenery is super healing, the pictures are taken by the original Apple camera without filter, there are forests, lakes and hills, all the way surprises, every corner is beautiful scenery! Super recommended!
There are lots of meadows and farmland, three seasons of Clarkson's Farm Ecstasy, and lots of lambs on the road. Halfway or a little slope, climb 300m or so, copied a shortcut a total of 15km, we do what we can.
We walked more leisurely, stopping to take photos and eat snacks many times, about 4 hours! Along the road there are wheat fields, sheep, horses, cows and many small E-dogs, the route has less uphill, the overall is gentle and easy to walk, the indicators are clear and there is no mud.
We were also lucky to meet four or five wild deer, although they ran away after five seconds of eye contact, and some wild mushrooms, but it is not recommended to eat them directly.
It is recommended to prepare food, water and snacks in advance, because there is a small shop (village area) not far from the train station behind the forest and you will never see a place to sell things, so if you are hiking all day long, you must remember to bring plenty of water.
It is best to go on a sunny day, although it did not rain on the day we went, the road is still very muddy. It is best to go in the morning, because it starts to get dark at four o 'clock in Britain now, and it is more dangerous to go down the mountain after dark, especially the muddy path. In general, it is very worth walking, and the train ticket is cheap near the city center, recommended!
To the top of the mountain can picnic Hey hey, my friends and I have a lot of meals on the stop-and-go road, remember to bring some protein bar cookies, water does not have to back more than 1L, only the end of the toilet, otherwise can only give back to nature. I like the second half of the secret forest, where my friend took photos of my vitality.
Back in Euston we went to Roti King, a Malaysian dish 2 minutes from the station, highly recommended!
🥘Roti King
📍40 Doric Way, Euston Rd., London NW1 1LH
Every dish is delicious, every table must order water spinach with shrimp sauce, strong push curry with fresh cake, super like pancakes, is the best cake I have eaten in the UK so far. Meet dinner and go home to rest! What a ride!
