The soul of Faya. Faya is actually made up of several Faya figures, also known as ninots. It's on every block.

It is a kind of fireworks activity, the symbol of the coming of the Faya Festival every year, the municipal square of Valencia will hold a fireworks show, the whole square is colorful, colorful smoke filled in the whole square full of music and enthusiasm. Miss Faya, who is then chosen, announces the arrival of the festival in the Municipal Square.

If you live in Valencia, it won't be the alarm clock that wakes you up every morning during this period, but their firecrackers. This ceremony is the highlight of the Faya Festival and brings the festival to its climax. At 8 p.m. on March 19, when night falls, people will start burning the small Fayas, and at 10 p.m., they will burn the large Fayas, keeping only the first one chosen by the people in the museum. At this moment, the Faya is turned into ashes, symbolizing that the troubles and misfortunes of the past year are burned, and welcoming spring means a new beginning. When all the noise and bustle recede, we usher in a brand New Year.
