Go to Winnie the Bear's house

One day tour enough, directly on the guide! The last two pictures are maps!

【 Non-self-driving transportation 】
🚄London Victoria — East Grinstead
I bought open return

🚌291 to Church Street
(The bus stop is on the left after leaving the train station.)
weekday bus runs every hour, which may take a long time. It seems to run every two hours on weekends, so weekday is more recommended!

🚌Pooh Corner-Pooh Sticks Bridge
291 Sit in Garage and walk, just follow the Google map.

【 Two attractions 】

Pooh Corner
I didn't order any tea because it was too hot on the day I went, so I didn't use Winnie's teapot

🌳Pooh Sticks Bridge
Some muddy, be sure to wear shoes that are not easy to dirty & easy to care for & comfortable.
The Pooh House. On the right hand side of where you're going, this is very obvious, there's a little wooden house. The door can be opened and there are dolls in it. The Piglet's House. It is very hidden, on the left hand side, and can not be directly seen, but you can see that there is a large open space under the cover of trees, and you need to step over a large and deep gap to get to it.

Owl's House is near Piglet's House, but a little ahead (from the main road), also on the left, near the edge of the deep ditch, be sure to look up!
💡 I walked all the way to the parking lot, there were no other obvious points to clock in, if only for the photo can be straight back.

The power bank must be fully charged. I almost thought I was going to run out of power and go home. Fortunately, there was an outlet on the return train to charge it. If you want to go in summer, you must: sunglasses, hat and sunscreen. I was back in the sun for 40 minutes waiting for the bus, there was really no shade and there was nowhere to sit, and the sunglasses really saved my life.

Where to buy water:
East Grinstead train station exit, go to the right hand side and cross the street, there is a Starbucks in front of Sainsburys where you can buy water.

How to get there: About an hour from London Victoria to East Grinstead, get off the train and get out of the bus stop. There are very few taxis and uber here, and the number 291 bus is usually used to get to pooh corner or pooh house.

291 weekdays run every two hours, so be sure to watch the time. Midweek or Saturday is recommended, as 291 runs an hour on non-Sundays and public holidays.

In terms of food, Winnie's toast must be ordered at every table, and tea and sandwiches are also good.

Unexpectedly, lavender Scone is very delicious, it can be said that in the UK to eat the most special and delicious Scone, really must point! We packed two when we left. The teahouse also has a very small museum and some surrounding areas, which feel quite lovely, and basically everyone buys some postcards.

When you go, you can buy a map for a pound, which shows in great detail how to walk from pooh corner to pooh bridge. There is a big grass on the way, planted with small yellow flowers and lavender, the wind really has the feeling of Miyazaki Hayao comics, but also a bit like the Sound of Music inside the big lawn. But some roads are not very easy to walk, are muddy, it is best not to wear light shoes.

And it's about a 40-minute walk from pooh corner, so make sure you wear comfortable shoes. Some plants also have thorns, small bugs are also more, need to be careful.

The Pooh bridge is actually a small wooden bridge in the plot, and everyone takes a photo to punch in. The pooh house, piglet house and owl house are fun to find. There are no signs so try to follow the general location on the map (or follow the footprints 👣).
