One of the oldest cities in Western Europe. Fancy a holiday

Today I took my children to Cadiz, a beautiful coastal city in the Andalusia region of southern Spain. Caddis is one of the oldest cities in Europe, with more than 3,000 years of history. We had a great day here and enjoyed many interesting sights and activities. And with a small population, it is a good city for leisure and vacation.

🌟TOP1 Cadiz Cathedral

This Gothic church was built in the 18th century and is one of the most important religious buildings in Caddis. You can visit the interior of the church and admire its spectacular architecture and decoration. The cathedral, built in the 18th century, is architecturally unique, and we climb the church tower for a spectacular view of the city and the coastline. The children were very interested in the history and architecture of the church.

🌟TOP2 Cadiz Old Town

The old town is full of narrow alleys, old buildings and charming squares. You can walk around here, feel the strong Spanish atmosphere, you can also taste the local food, seafood and a variety of Spanish tapas are very famous.

🌟TOP3 La Caleta Beach

This is one of the most famous beaches in Cadiz and is located in the center of the city. Here you can sunbathe, swim and enjoy the beautiful sea view. The water here is crystal clear, the sand is fine and soft, and the children have a great time here. They indulged in building sandcastles and splashing in the water on the beach, while I enjoyed a rare moment of quiet in the sun.

🌟TOP4 Cadiz Museum

The museum has a rich collection of history and art, including archaeological finds, paintings and sculptures. If you are interested in the history of Cadiz, this is a good place to go.

🌟TOP5 Plaza de San Juan de Dios

This is one of the main squares of Cadiz, surrounded by many restaurants and cafes, it is a good place to relax, and occasionally you can hear street artists performing in the square, adding a lot of interest to the visit.

🌟TOP6 University of Cadiz

The university has a beautiful campus that you can also visit if you are interested in the history and architecture of the school.

🌟TOP7 Water activities

As Cadiz is located on the Atlantic coast, you can take part in a variety of water activities such as surfing, sailing and diving, and it is a popular place for water sports enthusiasts.

🌟TOP8 Torre Tavira

The tower offers a panoramic view of Cadiz and is a great place to enjoy the beauty of the city. There is a camera obscura, where the entire city can be viewed through optical devices.

Be sure to try Taberna Casa Manteca!! Seville landlord strongly recommend us, open at 2030 in the evening, we have begun to shoot long queues at 27, very popular with the locals, it seems not to accept reservations

All in all, it was a very pleasant day in Cadiz. There are not only beautiful beaches and spectacular architecture, but also many interesting historical stories and fantastic experiences. Every part of Caddis is full of charm and is a great place for the whole family to visit. I hope to have another chance to explore this beautiful city in the future.
