📍Doca de Santo Amaro, Edificio Hippotrip, 1350-353 Lisboa, Portugal
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, in which Harry and RON drive a flying car to Hogwarts, has left a deep impression on many Harry Potter fans.
In Lisbon, although there is no car that can go up in the sky, there is a bus that can go down to the sea, or a boat that can travel on land - the "Hippotrip" amphibious tour bus.
Visiting the Belem district of Lisbon, you must have seen the lovely yellow water bus driving in the sea, holding the mentality of coming to come, so unique itinerary, how can you not experience it?
The entire trip is 90mins, divided into two parts: land and water. First take the bus to the city for 40mins, the leader will introduce many interesting local stories, and will tell you where the Portuguese Presidential Palace is! (I didn't think it was pretty impressive).
The highlight of the next 50mins is of course the water part, first the bus will drive to an estuary, there is a huge slope, and then it is a rush, passion into the water, no problem the realistic version of the torrent brave!
It's very exciting and fun to get down from the land into the water! A drop of salty sea water jumped into the mouth, and the sea breeze blew, it was very cool! The water trip is about 50 minutes, you can see the several must-punch seaside attractions, and there is an introduction, the perspective of the sea is not the same, and the docents will help take photos.
If you happen to meet a super acting leader 🤪. Before entering the water, it will stage a set of "Mom, I will sail away to pray" and then cooperate with the heroic bgm, a rush down, super exciting!!
After the water bus into the sea and the normal boat, very smooth, not only can enjoy the scenery, but also from different angles to play the Belem Tower and navigation monument and other attractions oh, really recommend that the partners with plenty of time, to punch a card!
I booked the ticket on the official website one day in advance, 34 euros per person, there are several buses every day, morning and afternoon, very warm guides, with Portuguese and English explanations.
About 40 minutes on the road, at least one-third of the time on the sea, you can see a lot of Lisbon's small streets, you can see pink street, you can feel the slope of Lisbon. The bus passes by the statue of the Marquis of Pombal, the monastery of Jeronimus, the Monument of the Discoverers, the Tower of Belem...
Tips: The sea is very windy, there are no Windows on the bus, it is best to wear a coat to protect against the wind.
I think this is especially friendly for visitors who do not want to walk, or take children and elderly people, will arrange seats in advance, children also have safety seats, very interesting, feel the time has passed in a flash! Highly recommended!
If, like me, you are often depressed by the Belgian/Dutch/French/British weather, make sure to visit Lisbon !!!!
ps: Be sure to eat Belem tower stall side 🍍, super drink heat relief artifact!!!
