➡️ Goulburn Train Museum

Address: 12 Braidwood Rd Goulburn NSW 2580 Australia

I traveled to Australia during the Spring Festival and was deeply impressed by Goulburn, north of Canberra. The town has a treasure train museum, the Rail Heritage Center, which documents the history of train development in New South Wales.

As a British colony, trains developed in a similar way to Britain, from the first steam locomotives to later diesel trains. As well as being a train museum, the Rail Heritage also maintains maintenance work on a small number of NSW trains. (This time I went to say that a locomotive was being repaired and would leave for Sydney at midnight the next day.)

The switches and facilities in the compartment can be touched and manipulated, and the experience is full of children and big friends!

At the ticket office, an old grandfather who sold tickets as a part-time tour guide asked us if we would like to provide an explanation. He was a train enthusiast himself and gave us an introduction to the history of different trains and the history of NSW railways as a whole.

There are many distinctive antique locomotives, and the museum has a detailed history of railways in New South Wales. NSW's oldest steam locomotive, over 100 years old, was imported from the UK. Steam locomotives are divided into two types, coal and steam cars separated or not separated.

In addition to all kinds of locomotives, there is the city rail in the 1970s, using the design and construction of the Shinkansen at that time. Interestingly, until today, 30 years later, the Melbourne line has only been a small extension and expansion, but the cost is not cheap. 🤣

➡️ Wind Power Plant

Capital Wind Farm is composed of several large windmills encountered along the way, which should be the nearest large windmill near Sydney. It is recommended to go when the wind is low so that the windmill will not turn too fast. It's on a high hill in Hampton. Light pollution in this area belongs to secondary dark space, which is very suitable for starry shooting. Surprise is that the southern sky on the same day also appeared the red aurora australis!

➡️The Big Merino

Address: Corner of Hume and, Sowerby St, Goulburn NSW 2580

This looks very much like the alien baby in Alien aliens, this big sheep statue is the symbol of the town, super cute big sheep statue, 15 meters high, 18 meters long.

There is a small shop next to the town's most famous large sheep sculpture punch card and special wool products store, which has a variety of pure wool products. The shop has a way into the interior of the statue, and you can see the town through the eyes of the sheep!

There is a parking place at the foot of the sheep, and there is a coffee shop, subway, etc., and you can also pick up something to eat.
