This white mushroom town in southern Italy, a fabulous place with a beauty that feels unreal, a gem in the Itria Valley between Bari, Brindisi and Taranto in Apulia Province, is a small town with only 10,000 people, but it has world-famous architecture, and was listed as a World Heritage Site in 1996. Known as Italy's "paradise town".
Mushroom Village features the roof of trullo's building. The walls were painted white with lime, and the roof was made of flat grey stones piled in a cone shape. It is said that it was built by the locals to evade taxes, and the roof was torn down when the tax was collected, indicating that there was no one living here.
Drury Observation Deck
The observation deck is of course the best place to take photos and overlook the town, right between People's Square and the parking lot. Climb the observation platform, not far away those small pointed houses like a genie's hat, very lovely.
The church of Towley
The largest church in town is a stately but lovely Towerly building, and the weather vane in the attic gives it a unique look. Every Sunday, the church is especially busy. There is also SAN Antonio church can not be missed, is a Trulli style church, the highest height of about 21 meters, the top of the cross, is Greek style.
The Chapel of the Holy Doctor
The Chapel of the Holy Doctor can be said to be a very special existence, and its completely different architectural style from the town will let you see it at a glance. Located north of the town center, the church was built in 1609 and later expanded in Renaissance style.
Church of SAN Antonio
Unlike the very different architectural style of the Chapel of the Holy Doctor, the church of SAN Antonio is like most of the Trulli houses in the town, with a dome 21 meters high and a Greek cross above it.
Ruler's stone house
The Ruler Stone House is a rare, two-story Drulli structure in the town, originally built by a family of wealthy priests, and has been used over the years as a family residence, church, and religious fraternity.
Stroll through town
Walking along the peaceful "Paradise Path" of the town, you feel like you are back to the slow pace of ancient life. The town has a lot of exquisite characteristics of small shops, bistros, small restaurants, walk tired, into a shop, drink a cup of coffee, look out the window of the crowd, enjoy the comfort of the town.
The Smallest Trullo
The smallest dome house in town, now a souvenir shop and one of the busiest attractions in town.
Great night view: On your stroll, you might come across a souvenir shop selling a cute and adorable miniature version of Trulli. As night fell, a small shop door also began to light up the lamp, the comfortable night began, the little lights are as dazzling as the stars in the sky.
