City of Love - Verona: Take a tour of Juliet's hometown

Verona is famous for Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet", here Juliet's balcony, the castle sunset 🌅, the whole city is slowly comfortable.

Verona, a World Heritage site in the Veneto region, is well known for its association with Shakespeare, and tourists from all over the world come to its beautiful squares and crisscrossing alleys, mostly in search of the love story of Romeo and Juliet.

But in addition to the over-the-top love element and Renaissance romance, Verona is a bustling city, with a sprawling first-century amphitheater in good condition standing majestically in the center of the city and the venue for Verona's annual summer opera festival.

Add to this the numerous churches, the charming Bridges over the Adige River, the local wine and cuisine in the heart of Veneto, and the stunning art that makes Verona one of the most charming cities in northern Italy, and the stunning Lake Garda is also within easy reach!

When Shakespeare set the story of the ill-fated couple in Verona, he could not have imagined that future people would be so enthusiastic about this tragic love, but Verona has made every effort to seize every possible commercial opportunity - from taverns and inns to embroidered kitchen aprons, all branded with Romeo and Juliet.

Although the two feuding families in the play are well documented, the protagonists are fictional.

In the 1930s, officials made the bold decision to make Juliet's home on the Capello Road reminiscent of a Capulet family mansion, adding a 14th-century balcony and a bronze sculpture of our heroine.

In fact, Juliet's house is not so impressive on the whole, and the perimeter of the small courtyard is posted with many love messages and a string of heart locks.
