Naked resignation to Iceland town tree!

After a long period of internal exhaustion and insomnia, I finally got the courage to quit naked and flew to Iceland, my spiritual hometown, where I was longing for a long time. I worked as a volunteer in a small town in the middle of the country, mainly doing plant transplantation work in the greenhouse, and then moved to the outdoor to plant trees. To be honest, the work was a little boring because of its high repeatability, but it was very suitable for people who did not want to do brain-wasting work in the short term, such as me.

The town I stayed in was very small, there were only about 100 people, the houses were lovely, the people I met here were very friendly, they would always compliment you on everything you did, even if the food looked terrible, people would always tell you that it tasted pretty good.

The volunteers who live together in share house come from all over the world, most of them are young people in their early 20s in Europe, but there are also some social people who are in the gap year. Talking with them, you will find that life can have many possibilities, instead of being stuck in a small job waiting for retirement. On holidays, I sometimes go hiking or swimming together, and sometimes I watch movies and daze in the living room.

Originally thought it was a very boring thing, but slowly tasted down, everything here has no KPI, no internal volume, when we say coffee break, lunch time! Volunteers all over the world come together because of the same idea, want to experience different life, meet different people, listen to different stories, this is the original intention of becoming a volunteer!

Away from the work that consumed energy before, my days were dull but my heart was very steadfast, and I gradually recovered my previous confidence and no longer suffered from insomnia. What impressed me most was that everyone here was very respectful to each other, and no matter what dietary restrictions and preferences you had, you were very considerate of each other.

In fact, I am a barbarian, in the group life will need to be alone time, so sometimes after dinner, we want to get together to play games or chat, I will feel that my social energy has been exhausted and want to go back to the room to rest, everyone is very understanding, will not blame you for not fitting in with the group, this is the most comfortable point for me!

Of course, in Iceland also saw a super beautiful aurora, as long as there is an aurora will be excited to notify everyone in the group, really super cute. Finally, going from working 10+ hours to sleeping 10+ hours is really cool.

Did what you did in Iceland make sense? In fact, to tell the truth, picking grass every day, pulling cucumbers, small tomatoes, moving things, weeding the nursing home community, there is no special significance, but the experience, the mentality has changed, everything has begun to think in a good direction, and the face has become better, which is very happy!

Here I met my Italian friend Luca, who loves travel and Iceland. Every year, he brings Europeans from different countries to travel in Iceland! For him, being able to travel the world is his dream, and he is moving towards his goal step by step, for him, this is his life satisfaction!

Don't always think about doing this thing is meaningful, useful, want to do it, just do it! Wish us enjoy our life!! 💗
