Home of the Road by Winnie the Pooh 🍯!

Is living in Groundhog town cool enough?,The town of Winnie the Bear,But they are well worth visiting, and these towns have a profound story behind them, each carrying history, culture and unique cultural customs.

🔥Wiarton Willie

The small town of Wiarton on the Bruce Peninsula is home to Canada's most famous groundhog, Willie, and every February 2 is the midpoint of winter, the protagonist of Groundhog Day, a popular annual festival similar to celebrations elsewhere in North America. Wiarton Willie's story goes back to 1956. Wiarton resident Mac McKenzie wanted to show his childhood home to his friends, so he started a party called "Groundhog Day" and invited everyone to join him.

Whether the next six weeks would be an early spring or a continuation of the cold would depend on whether Willie could see his own shadow. The town's lakeside Bluewater Park has Willie's statue, Bruce's Cave, Corran Ruins, the most luxurious residential site in the area, spiral staircase and other beautiful scenery, Indian Falls Horseshoe Falls due to the flood walk temporarily closed.

🔥White River

When it comes to Winnie the Pooh, Disney (Winnie-the Pooh) comes from the British writer A.A.Milne, but if there is a real world bear called Winnie from the town of White River (White River) in Ontario, Canada.

It is also because it inspires writers to write such wonderful children's books.

With a population of more than 1,000 (presumably more than bears), the town calls itself the coldest area in Canada.

The story of Winnie the Pooh begins here.

Although the White River is a relatively small place with only a few hundred residents, it is one of the most representative historical attractions in Canada.

Every year on the third week of August, the town will hold the Pooh festival. There will be a different theme every year, such as Winnie the Pooh, Pooh into a Hawaiian, Winnie the Pooh looking to the future, and fireworks, dancing, demonstrations, competitions, exhibitions and so on.

🔥Wawa goose

That's right! This Ontario town is indeed called "Wawa" and is known for its famous giant Wawa Goose statue. The world's largest Canada Goose Statue is located here. Upon entering the town, I went straight to the visitor information Center and saw a sculpture of a Canada goose standing on the side of the road. Built since 1960, as a landmark sculpture of Wawa City, this Internet celebrity goose has been guarding the entrance of the town's visitor center.

The town's name "WAWA" means "land of wild geese" in the Aboriginal language. The Canadian goose is as emblematic of Canadian culture as the beaver and the maple leaf.
