Yellowstone National Park is the world's first national park, established in 1807, located in the United States, Wyoming, Montana and Idaho border. Yellowstone National Park is a classic example of a natural ecosystem, home to the world's largest wildlife community, including bears, bison, wolves, deer, and more. It is also a supervolcano, and its underground heat source is responsible for distinctive features such as lakes, waterfalls, canyons and geysers above ground. The most famous of these is the Old Faithful geyser, which erupts every once in a while. In addition, the park has a large number of hot springs and hot springs, as well as magnificent canyons and lakes, and is one of the most famous and nationally important nature reserves in the United States, with high scientific and aesthetic value.
⛰️Norris Geyser Basin
The weather changes in Yellowstone, and the raincoat comes in handy. You can smell the thick sulfur as soon as you enter the Norris Geyser basin. Many of them can be seen along the walkway. I walked the Norris Geyser Basin Complete Loop Trail, walking and watching for about an hour and a half. Recommended if you have enough time. Hot springs are not too big, the color is relatively simple, personally think here is still very amazing, you can simply walk the paved wooden trail, about 30 minutes round trip.
⛰️Mammoth Hot Spring
Never visit Yellowstone without clocking this geomorphic wonder ️
Mammoth Hot Spring is definitely second only to Grand Prism Color Spring in my mind. It is also known as the hot step area, which is divided into the stage and the stage. Mammoth hot spring is one of the most active and longest existing geothermal areas, and the hot spring group is dense, forming a huge area of karst plateau.
The spring comes from the Norris Geyser Basin, the water temperature is 77 degrees, and the algae is rich, giving the spring a variety of colors. The hot spring along the hillside formed a multi-stage multi-colored steps, the scene is magnificent.
But after a crustal movement in 2002, most of the hot springs ceased to function, a large number of microorganisms died, and the mammoth hot springs also lost their color, and the dead bacteria became gray powder, which remained on the big steps, and thus became the most unlike the Earth's landscape.
One of the iconic sites. There are two trails. Mammoth Terraces require walking, the exercise is relatively large, but it is worth it! It's a quick Drive around the Upper Terrace Scenic Drive Loop, and we see the first one here.
⛰️Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone
There are two waterfalls. Artist Point has a view of the Lower Falls but is far from the falls. The Brink of Lower Falls is close, but it's really hard to walk. Upper Falls Viewpoin. You can see the upper falls up close. It's amazing.
⛰️Grand Prismatic Spring
Located in the western section of Yellowstone National Park, Grand Prism Spring is the largest hot spring in the United States and the third largest in the world. It was discovered by geologists in 1871 and was named Grand Prism because of its striking colors. The water temperature of the hot spring is as high as 86℃, and the biological and chemical effects make the water color change and colorful, and various colors spread from the center to the outside, and the pool side forms a gradual texture.
It's amazing. God knocked the palettes out of sight. The Grand Prismatic Overlook Trail can be completed in less than an hour, and the overlook is even better!
⛰️Old Faithful
This is particularly funny, it is very regular eruption, every few minutes spray, a few minutes each time, so the visitor center has the eruption time notice board, there is about 10 minutes of error, you just look at the time, play yourself.
Because the eruption time is too regular, so everyone came to the most positive position early and sat down, occupying an area...
A bunch of people just sitting there, waiting to spray. It's good. It's spectacular. It's beautiful.
I saw the refrigerator sticker spray so high and smile must be deceiving, but it really won't disappoint, otherwise how to call old faithful must sit and wait, don't rush to go.
⛰️Moring Glory Pool
It is one of the most famous geothermal springs in Yellowstone Park. When I saw it, I couldn't help but marvel at it! There are really no words to describe it. The morning glory pool is green as jade, crystal clear and surrounded by orange lace. The spring contains a variety of metal ions, clear spring water is blue, golden outer edge, like a blooming morning glory.
Yellowstone promotional photo. The most beautiful one in my heart, there are many springs along the way, all very lovely. If you're lucky, you can see a sudden spray.
⛰️West Thumb Geyser Basin
Finger Basin, on the edge of Yellowstone Lake, where the hot fountain combines with the water, there is a wonderful smoke-filled landscape, truly like a fairyland. There are many geysers gathered in the scenic area, some are agate green, some are azure blue, 30 minutes to walk the circular trail, the black pool is particularly beautiful.
There are multiple springs of different shapes and colors, just walk along the trestle road. You can also see the lake. It's worth a visit.
⛰️Hayden Valley
To get to the point, if you want to see animals, head to Hayden Valley, around 7pm, stay on the road and you'll see Bison, keep going and you'll see deer, moose and Elk, keep going into the woods and you'll see bears, keep an eye on the bark, if they're all showing fresh color, there's one nearby, I don't come out much during the day. I eat at night. Coyote was seen on Grand Loop RD., just in front of my car, drawing the figure 8, slowly, it came back to the prairie when the other side of the big car.
A large section on the right of lower 8 is this landscape of grasslands and lakes. It's not iconic but it's really beautiful and it's a delight to look at.
