The town of Eze must be one of the most beautiful medieval towns in the world. It is known for "the most beautiful view of the Mediterranean" and is only 8 km from Monaco. The town is one of the oldest and most beautiful mountain towns on the Cote d 'Azur in France. In this small mountain town with a history of 2500 years, there are many wonderful stories.

✅ Nitze Trail

Please choose carefully to walk from Eze town to Eze train station, especially for those who do not exercise normally, it is difficult to climb the mountain when the company is set up. Eze this downhill path is even more difficult to climb, the whole course is basically a rough stone path, and the stone is a little smooth in some places. But the second half of the way down the mountain, facing the blue sea, there is a short road called the Nietzsche Road, with Nietzsche's poems. It's really worth an hour on this rough mountain road. Walk on the winding and rugged mountain road and enjoy the spectacular and beautiful Mediterranean scenery along the way.

✅ Le Jardin Exotique

Hundreds of exotic plants, including agave/aloe/cactus. It is recommended to enter the garden before ten o 'clock in the morning, and then you will queue up to enter the garden, and the queue for photos in the botanical garden will take up a lot of time. Tickets can be purchased at the machine near the bus/taxi drop-off point, there is also one on the way to the Botanical Garden, but it may be overlooked. The machine has Chinese option, adults (over 12 years old) 8💶, children under 12 years old free. The botanical garden has a map, although the botanical garden is not large, but still need to refer to the map, otherwise you will miss a lot of routes.

✅ Fragonard Perfume factory (Fragonard)

very famous in France is a handmade perfume brand with more than 300 years of history. Established in Eze in 1968, Hanamura was the world's first perfume factory, producing for many major brands. The most important thing (according to the tour guide) is that it's only available in France.

Our Chinese guide made an appointment with the factory, and was greeted by a Taiwanese sweet sister. The first floor told the process of various products, and you could smell the fragrant flowers. Shopping is on the second floor, there are soap, perfume, household, body lotion, shower gel, cream, skin care oil, etc., all kinds of flavors, there is a main flower fragrance every year. The guide let us smell a lot of incense, their most recommended is the gold bottle, which is stronger than edp, the fragrance time is said to be 7-9 hours, it is not recommended to smell when it is just sprayed, too strong. (I've been carrying the paper for 2 days and it still smells good.) If it is to be used daily, a spray is enough, otherwise it will become a walking aromatherapy machine. A 15ml bottle of small gold is 35 euros, with a tax refund of 300. Bought the same mother fragrance (mg can not be sent out, you understand) and Chiba rose. I bought four bars of soap to give away. When I return to Paris on the 31st, I will go to the Flower Palace near the Galeries Lafayette and buy some perfume.

✅ Rothschild Garden House
In the early 20th century, rich people and aristocrats in Europe began to build holiday villas in coastal areas, and Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild in Cap Ferrat was also the most representative and beautiful one at that time.

Beatrice, one of the daughters of the Rothschild banking family and a well-known socialite at the time, had visited the villa of her husband's (and later divorced because of his excessive debts) relatives on the Cote d 'Azur, and was so attracted by the atmosphere there that she decided to buy the land as her own paradise. The villa is best known for its dreamy pink appearance of a maiden's heart and features several rooms, including the mistress 'bedroom overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and a social hall, with nine themed gardens in the courtyard for visitors to explore.

During the First World War, due to the outbreak of war, most of the casinos and entertainment places were closed or used as temporary shelters, the hostess was usually fond of gambling but had no place to go at this time, so she invited guests to her villa to have fun and party, compared with the soldiers and civilians who were suffering from the war, the old money seemed to live a quiet life in a beautiful paradise.

Beatrice once said, "There's a lot of ugliness and disappointment in the world, and this is the only place where it's the best."
Now, in the absence of war, can look at the blue Mediterranean daze every day is really a pleasant life ah. Just outside Nice. The pink villas are fantastic and the whole estate has a lovely floral colour scheme.

✅ Villa Caiilos

Designed by architect Emmanuel Pontremoli, a fellow lover of ancient Greek civilization, the villa took six years to complete. The villa is close to the bay, and the terrain is also low, with the underground level almost parallel to the sea level. It was so windy when we went that we rushed inside without taking a good look at the exterior. After entering, I found that I had actually walked into the museum of ancient Greece.

The villa is divided into several rooms, the luxurious bath on the first floor and the antique mosaics of the 2nd century at the entrance are amazing, the library, the dining room, the living room, the bedroom of Raynak and his wife, etc., each room can see totems designed with Greek mythological figures as the theme, and the materials selected are first-class choices in the early 20th century.Look closely at your feet, a large number of mosaics applied to the floor of the room. The word Mosaic originated in ancient Greece and is a detailed decoration made of Mosaic. Mosaic art has an important position in the field of architecture in ancient Greece and Rome. Mosaic as a special means of decoration, to a certain extent, symbolizes the noble social status. The more mosaics, the finer and more beautiful the patterns, the richer the family.

In addition, the connection of tall rooms and the columns around the central courtyard are also one of the characteristics of ancient Greek architecture. Far from the pale pink Rothschild Garden House style, it has a more masculine and neutral feel. The first floor is divided into two corridors connecting all the rooms. The master and hostess rooms each have a bathroom, the master's room is decorated with the symbolism of the goddess of love, and the mistress's room is dedicated to the earth goddess Hera.

The lower level is from the other entrance of the courtyard, which is easy to overlook. On this floor is the villa's art gallery, which displays a row of Greek gods and goddesses, because the basement and the Mediterranean Sea is only separated by a wall, walking in the art gallery, the ear can hear the sound of waves.

The mountain paths of the town of Eze zigzag from the foot of the mountain to the top of the mountain. The path is lined with artists' studios, art galleries, antique shops, souvenir shops and restaurants and coffee shops. Every corner, like a beautiful painting. Navigating the maze of alleys in Eze is often a surprise. Artists gather here, galleries are all over the place, shops have a variety of creative paintings and gadgets, everywhere flowers and green plants all reflect the romance of the French people.Come on!
