If you go to Basel, Switzerland, in addition to going to the art fair, you must not miss one of the most beautiful art museums in the world, the Bayeler Foundation Art Museum.
The Art museum is located in the park, the environment is very beautiful, the audience in the lush green environment to appreciate the top art, it is definitely a refreshing experience.
A 20-minute drive outside Basel, the Fondation Beyeler, designed by Italian architect Renzo Piano, has a clear, harmonious atmosphere and is surrounded by floor-to-ceiling Windows. Definitely one of my top three favorite art museums I've ever been to. The collection is large enough, the architecture is beautiful, highly accurate and tasteful, and the curatorial selection can be so exquisite and capricious.
Walking into the museum gives people a sense of curiosity and calm, but seeing the works one by one makes people very touched, just like their special exhibition arrangement contradictions and integration, which may be a good art museum can bring profound feelings to visitors.
At dusk, the warm golden light slowly enveloped, surrounded by silence, just sitting on the sofa, the body and mind are relieved.
The viewing process is a gentle enjoyment, walking around and admiring Beyeler's good taste. As the most famous Swiss art dealer and collector, he began to collect a series of master art in the 1960s with keen insight, taste and intuition.
Through the familiar Cezanne, Monet, Gauguin, Ferdinand Hodier's landscape painting particularly attracted me, the Swiss painted Switzerland's lake ten colors, as if full of love, full of vitality and dream. Then there are still life paintings by Picasso and Leger, sculptures by Giacometti and Louise Bourgeois, all forming a harmonious dialogue.
Twice in a row within half an hour, I saw the staff change the paintings on the wall at the Bayeler Foundation exhibition site, and I was still a little shocked. With all the spectators watching, the whole process was smooth and smooth.
Gallery Rimonet, Andy Warhol, Felix Gonzalez-Torres, Mark Rothko, Mondrian, Giacometti... Everything, with more than 400 pieces in private collections alone, this little Swiss is a story! It's a pity I didn't see the collection Roni Horn!
A glass sculpture by the American minimalist artist Roni Horn is displayed on the green terrace, and a large-scale work by contemporary art prodigy Jean-Michel Basquiat, created for his first European solo exhibition in 1982, is now on display.
It is also worth mentioning the restaurant at the entrance of the garden, which is perfect for a leisurely afternoon, and the art museum worth coming back to. FYI Foundation diagonal pizza is delicious (not easy to have the best meal in Switzerland this time).
As one of Picasso's biggest collectors, the work is selective and bold, and the dialogue between Giacometti and Bacon can be presented in pairs and exquisite. I finish with a water lily and feel dizzy.
In the afternoon of dreams, I will go to Basel, I will go to learn art, and I will go to practitioners.
