Salt Lake City, way station to Yellowstone!

In September, I went to Yellowstone with friends and chose to fly from Seattle to Salt Lake City and rent a car to drive to Yellowstone. After finishing the guide, I found that Salt Lake City is still worth playing, so I stayed for two days to play in SLC.

📍Utah State Capitol

The Utah State Capitol is free for visitors. It feels like it's built on a hill north of Salt Lake City, overlooking the entire SLC from here, coming in through the east gate. It talks about the history of Utah and the governors, and the lobby on the first floor is very beautiful, and it rattles out. According to legend, the state government did not have enough money to renovate it, and then it was lucky enough to get the inheritance tax from an old lady who died. Whether the rumor is true or not remains to be determined, but the grandeur and magnificence of the Parliament building have left a deep impression.

The heart of the magnificent, majestic Parliament building is not only gorgeous appearance, it gives the minority the right to represent the interests of the majority, solemn, fair is its ultimate true meaning.

📍Stansbury bay

Personally think it is the most beautiful and unreal place of the great salt lake, because the day is cloudy, so the color of the light color lake will be more or less affected by the reflection of the white cloud, but the color on the other side is obvious. Since the road is sealed, the difference between the two colors can be seen when looking at the ground, but the effect is not so good, and the viewing effect will be much better with the help of drones!

According to the navigation, on the way to Stansbury Bay, we will pass by many salt lakes, big and small, among which there is another section like the larger two-color lake in the picture. We only shot the one at the final destination at that time, and personally think that both are similar, but this section is convenient for parking and shooting. On a clear day, you can see a very pink and very white lake separated by a long narrow road, which is very spectacular.

Here it is strongly recommended to take a drone to go, because there are 50 meters from the lake to set up a sign not to go further, I specially let friends from the domestic to help back a big Jiang.

📍 Bonneville Salt Flats

The famous "sky land", the above place is about 140km to the west. The road is really straight and long and the speed limit is 80. It's very comfortable to drive. But after it became cloudy, so the scenery was ordinary, stayed for a while and went back to Salt Lake City.

Remember to fill up your tank from downtown before you go. Gas stations there rarely cause gas prices.

📍Temple Square

I had heard that it was the base camp of the Mormon Church, but it was still under renovation when I went there, so I went to a smaller church nearby, called assembly hall, where worship will be held at regular times every day.

📍 The world's first KFC

In South chinatown, the store has some of the more memorable exhibits. I suggest you just take a look and punch a card like every other Kentucky Fried Chicken in America. There is a small museum in the store can visit, and the statue of KFC grandpa at the door, the original Kentucky grandpa really looks like this, to the west to play small partners can come here to punch yo.

📍delta center

The home of the nba Jazz, if you like to watch football can see Karl Malone and Stockton statue.
