Ridgebirge
At the top of the mountain, you can enjoy a 360-degree view of the Swiss Alps, overlooking the idyllic scenery below, as many as 13 lakes, and even look out to France and Germany. It is a great place to watch the sunrise and sunset, and in winter, you can often see the breathtaking sea of clouds.
As a world-class tourist destination, the Mount Regis itself is one of the most popular hiking destinations for Swiss locals. In recent years, it has attracted a large number of Chinese tourists competing to punch the card, so the scenic spot has also set up a number of convenient and service facilities for Chinese tourists.
The most beautiful hiking route recommended for Queen Regis Mountain
Mount Regis is one of the most famous mountains in Switzerland. In 1871, Europe's first mountaineering gear train ran from Vitznau to Rigi Staffelhohe. It offers a panoramic view of the central Swiss Alps. And Mount Regis is a sister mountain to Mount Emei in China. There are many hiking trails here, today I will introduce to you one that I think is the most beautiful.
Features:
📸 Along the way you can enjoy the plains of northwest Switzerland, Lake Lucerne and the cities along it, as well as most of the Alps in central Switzerland (Pilatus, Shiden, Titlis, etc.).
🐮 On your way you will pass several alp pastures and see lovely cattle grazing in the green pastures. You hear the sound of bells hanging around their necks. This is many people's ideal view of Switzerland.
📸 I would highly recommend the cliff path, the view is wide open and really beautiful.
🌸 The cliff trail overlaps in part with the Weg der Naturschatze (Natural Treasures Trail). So on this road you can see a wide variety of Alpine plants as well as introductions.
Suggestion:
⏱️ The whole route takes about 3 hours to complete, but you'll need to plan a little more time if you're stopping and taking photos.
🥾 The trail is not very difficult, but suitable hiking shoes are needed. Safety first.
📸 At Rigi Kulm you can consider walking the 30-minute summit Loop. There are restaurants 🍴 and toilets 🚾.
🚂 You can choose to reach Rigi Kulm by train from Vitznau or Arth Goldau. From Rigi Scheidegg you need to take the cable car to Krabel and from Krabel take the train back to Arth Goldau.
Lake Lucerne
Lake Lucerne, also known as Lake Lucerne and Lake of the Four Forest Cantons, is the fourth largest lake in Switzerland and the first lake entirely within the territory of Switzerland. The shoreline of Lake Lucerne twists and turns, creating many branches that connect the city of Lucerne to the surrounding mountains. The Reuss River flows from Fluelen into the lake and from Lucerne.
Lake Lucerne is a very popular tourist destination for both Swiss and foreign tourists, and there are many hotels and resorts on the lake. The Rutli grassland on the southeastern shore of Lake Lucerne was an alliance of the Swiss Confederation in 1287. To mark the 700th anniversary of Switzerland's founding, the government has created a commemorative walking trail on the shores of Lake Lucerne. The route runs 30 kilometers from Lutley Meadow, known as the birthplace of Switzerland, to Brunnen on the other side.
