Americans every Thanksgiving Day, the whole country is very busy, every family will eat Turkey. Family members returned from the north and south, the family group sitting together, chewing delicious Turkey, talk about the past, how can not make people feel particularly cordial and warm.

Costume parades, theatrical performances and sports competitions are held everywhere in towns and cities, and schools and shops are also on holiday. There were many people in the church that day, and according to the custom, people here have to do Thanksgiving prayers.

I had a lot of local food, the first time I had Turkey, which is a traditional feature, and cranberry and mashed dishes, and of course a lot of wine and desserts, many of them for the first time.

I made a lot of dumplings for the family, their own dough, cut their own stuffing. Making dumplings in foreign countries is quite amazing haha, I was worried that it would fail, because it was only done once in China, and it was my mother who made dumplings. Fighting all morning, legs are standing numb, but fortunately received unanimous praise! Shopping with friends, setting up with friends, cooking with friends, preparing with friends and having a festive atmosphere. These are the little good things in life. Makes me look forward to every day.

Back in China, especially in the last few years, my husband missed his family so much during the holidays that he missed Thanksgiving food. When we moved to America last year, we went to the beach for Thanksgiving instead of staying at home. This is the first time my family is having Thanksgiving at home. My husband is overjoyed!
