Singapore Citywalk | how to walk in the end
Hi everyone! November starts to cool in Singapore, and we recently revisited the city where we grew up with 27,000 steps to come up with a Citywalk itinerary: Bugis + Chinatown + Marina Bay.
This route can also be broken down into three areas, you are welcome to choose and combine according to your preferences and shopping ability!
【 Niu Che Shui Citywalk】
⌛️ Estimated travel time: from 2-4 hours
📍 Route: Pearl Square ▶ Xingdu Temple ▶ Temple of the Tooth Buddha ▶ Maxwell Cooked Food Centre ▶ East Asian Dining Room
💡 Highlights: Chinatown is the Tang Street in Singapore. It was named after the early Chinese people in Lower Southeast Asia who carried water by oxen.
It is recommended to take Exit C to the landmark Pearl Square, where there is a large cooked food center, cross the bridge to the direction of the Xingdu Temple on Den Po Street, then to the Temple of the Tooth Buddha, and finish the tour at the East Asia Dining Room. Lin Zhiyuan jerky at Exit C of Btw Chinatown Subway Station is a good choice for a hand ceremony!
【 Pearl Square 】 The landmark of Chinatown, very brilliant in the 70's, the yellow exterior wall is written with a large "pearl Square" three words, very attractive! Next to the Pearl Square Cooked food Center, there are many food options, there are many stalls of food from all over the country, but the hygiene and environment are not very good!
Hindu Temples in Singapore are called Hindu temples, and this one in the heart of Chinatown is the oldest Hindu temple in Singapore. If you are interested, you can take off your shoes and take a picture. You need to pay S $3.
The Temple of the Tooth Buddha, which is open to tourists to sing for free, has been built for less than 20 years, so it is particularly handsome compared with the uneven arcade buildings in the area of Chinatown. The temple also houses the Buddha Tooth relic, a sacred relic of Buddhism.
[Maxwell Cooked Food Center] When I used to work near the city, I often came here for lunch, and now it is direct to the subway. There are many local food options, but the dining environment is relatively general, and friends who have requirements for the environment still recommend going to a restaurant
[East Asia Dining Room] Local old brands serve crunchy and tasty kaya toast and delicious soft-boiled eggs. This triangle store reminds me of the Wukang Building in Shanghai, suitable for taking photos and punching in ~
