St. Petersburg Museum of Curiosities on Vasily Island
The St. Petersburg Museum of Cursories was founded in 1714 and was the first museum in Russia. The name of the museum derives from two German words, "art" and "house".
In fact, the museum not only has a variety of art collections, but also many strange things collected by Peter the Great - exotic plant and animal specimens, weapons, Musical Instruments, costumes and jewelry of different nationalities. In addition, in the tower are the Gotov globe, the observatory and the laboratory of Lomonlosov.
In the 1830s, the Museum was divided into Zoology, ethnography, botany and Mineralogy. Now it is the Ethnological Museum, which has exhibition halls of many countries and regions, mainly displaying various clothing jewelry, daily necessities, handicrafts and sacrificial articles. There is also a specimen hall and an Academy hall.

Personally, I think Chinese exhibits are the most abundant and amazing, with exquisite wood carvings, ivory carvings, jade carvings and porcelain...... No wonder to put the Chinese exhibition hall in the first place, directly open the door to shock! The exhibition of specimens is also very interesting, there are animals, insects, organs, Siamese twins, but there are not many exhibits.
