Attention! North Island famous attraction - Blue Springs closed!

The most amazing place for me in this New Zealand trip is Blue Spring in the North Island. I went there before the Blue Spring closed. The scenery was so beautiful that I was speechless.

We didn't walk the entire trail, but it was impressive enough. The day is rainy, continuous rain and clear, even so the blue spring water is still clear, very envy live here ducklings!

It is said to be the location of Avatar, really beautiful! The side of the entrance near the Blue Spring is blocked (the road is flooded), so the other entrance is used, which can be reached in about two hours.

On the way also saw a lot of cattle, my friends and I like not to see the face of the crazy photo ha ha ha.

Blue Spring really lives up to its name, it's really too beautiful; It is best to go as early as possible, while there is the sun to go, my friends and I slowly leisurely while chatting while taking pictures too slow, the sun has set, the beauty of the mobile phone can not be taken!

It is the most pleasant hiking route I have ever taken, like walking in a painting!

📍Te Waihou Walkway

Blue Springs is currently closed and is expected to reopen to the public by the end of the year for up to a year. "For the sake of safety, we ask the public to stay away from the area," the local government said. The local government is now working on a long-term solution. But the solution is to shut it down. The popular trail to Blue Springs will be closed to the public from November 13, with plans to reopen at the end of next year.

Let's see what kind of fairy place is Blue Spring?

It is one of the purest water sources in the world and is located on the North Island of New Zealand. About 70% of New Zealand's bottled water comes from spring water, and its crystal clear blue springs are a popular tourist attraction. Blue Springs has long been one of the most popular spots in the North Island, and I have taken countless photos of my life here. Its clear and transparent lake water, as if a palette of nature, let people revel in its beauty. Every time you set foot in Blue Spring, you are in close contact with a natural wonder.

When you arrive at the Blue Spring, you will be deeply attracted by the clear blue water, because only pure water can show such a breathtaking blue.

It takes 50 to 100 years for the spring water to reach the surface, and some of the spring water is bottled and sold under the brand 'Pump', which is very common in supermarkets.

The spring is kept at a constant temperature of 11 degrees Celsius all year round, and the blue spring can fill a 25-meter long, six-lane swimming pool in just 12 minutes!

However, a popular trail leading to Blue Springs will be closed for at least a year.

The trail is called TE WAIHOU WALKWAY, Blue Springs is located at the southern end of the trail, the area is private property, zf coordinated several farmers, bought a section of river valley near Blue Springs, built a 5.2 km long trail, officially opened to the public in 1999.

It's a little sad for overseas tourists and locals, but wait patiently for the day when it reopens!

Looking forward to meeting, and Blue Springs, and you, in New Zealand.
