Big reveal inside the Tower of the Sun

The Tower of the Sun is a building designed by Japanese artist Taro Okamoto at the venue of the Osaka World Expo in 1970. It is both his representative work and the landmark building of the Expo. There are three faces on the outside of the tower of the Sun: the golden sun at the top, symbolizing the future, and the sun at the front, representing the present; Located on the back, it represents the black sun of the past.
The underground space of the Tower of the Sun features a fourth face pattern in the entire building, known as the "underground sun".
However, since the original work has been lost, a replica made in 2014 is now on display. With the underground sun as the background, the light show presents the two themes of "The Past: The World of Roots" and "Prayer" that Taro Okamoto wanted to present. (In this part, we can see that Taro Okamoto's inspiration came partly from the Jomon earthenware which also influenced the design of the Zelda Temple and the Movable terracotta.)
Inside the Tower of the Sun is the Tree of Life, displaying 183 models of 33 species from bottom to top, representing the biological evolution process from single-celled organisms to the birth of human beings. Climbing up the stairs, you can observe the evolution of life.
The inner arm of the Tower of the Sun is also shocking, it is said that the World Expo can climb out along this arm, staring for a long time to feel that it will be sucked away.
