On Sundays in Munich, you can go to the museum for 1 euro! Don't miss it!

For those who love art, we highly recommend the two great museums Alte Pinakotek and Pinakothek der Moderner. You have to come on Sunday. For one euro you can see the wonderful paintings of the great masters from 1400.

🚗 Address:

Drive direct name search, free parking around the museum on Sundays. Or get off odensplatz on Line 6 and walk there for about ten minutes.

🥘 To eat:
There is a Yang Guofu restaurant around the museum ten minutes' walk, you can arrange it directly after watching the exhibition. The first meal of Yang Guofu after coming back to Germany satisfied my Chinese stomach.

Take away:
There are many free postcards at the front desk of the museum. Personally, I think it is worth collecting. Recently, I am decorating my new home and using it directly as a photo wall. And the museum store has a lot of large print paintings that they buy and hang at home.

Finally, I want to lament the beauty and popularity of European art atmosphere.

📍Alte Pinakothek
Barer Str. 27, 80333 Munchen

I heard that the ticket price on Sunday is only one euro, but there will be a lot of people, so I won't join in the excitement. There were only a few tourists today, and there was really no one on the second floor when I visited!! The feeling of exclusive experience, if you want to have a good visit, it is highly recommended to go on weekdays.

Treasures of the museum: Van Gogh's sunflowers, Monet's water lilies, Durer's self-portraits and more.

The Alte Pinakothek (Old Paintings), which houses paintings from the Middle Ages to the mid-18th century, is one of the largest and most important such museums in the world.

The Old Painting Museum (German: Alte Pinakothek, also known as the Ancient Painting Museum) is located in the Munich Art District (German: Kunstareal), is one of the six largest art museums in the world, the collection of more than 1,800 painters thousands of works, of which the Renaissance art is the most prominent.

Ludwig I of Bavaria felt obliged to make the royal collection accessible to the public in the spirit of mass education, so he commissioned the architect Leo von Klenzer to design an art museum in the northern suburbs of Munich that would provide a centralized place for the exhibition of the art treasures, which were scattered in different palaces and away from the public. The foundation stone was laid on April 7, 1826 (the anniversary of the birth of the painter Raphael Sancy), completed in the autumn of 1836, and officially opened on October 16.

📍Pinakothek der Moderne

The Modern Art Museum (Pinakothek der Moderne) is located in the center of Munich, and together with the old Painting Museum (Alte Pinakothek) and the new painting Museum (Neue Pinakothek), it is called the three major Munich art museums. Together they form the Kunstareal (art district) of the city. The museum opened in 2002, focusing on the collection and display of modern and contemporary art works, the current collection of more than 520,000 pieces, is one of the largest modern and contemporary art museums in the world.

The favorite part of the Munich Museum, which thinks that the irregular line of motion is actually very smooth, is not affected by the use of the circle.
