If you have enough time, we recommend you to stay in the ceramic town of Moustiers-Sainte-Marie. There is a large monastery at the top of the hill, from which you can overlook Lake Holy Cross and the whole town. For centuries, the town was the center of the local ceramic trade. The whole town is built on a mountain, and the huge waterfall flows down the hill at the top of the town.

Note: Most of the way is the mountain road, be sure to pay attention to safe driving on the road with some viewing platforms, do not stop in the non-viewing platform area, do not cross the solid line, do not turn around at will, safety first. After arriving at Lake Holy Cross, first take photos on the bridge. After shooting both sides, you can consider renting a boat to visit the lake. To the left of the bridge is a lake, to the right is a canyon and a small waterfall, from the bridge you can see the place to rent a boat. Deeper into the lake, it's cheaper to rent a boat, and the view of the lake is more beautiful, but it's a little farther into the canyon.

Precautions for chartering a boat
Some charters need to mortgage passports and only accept cash, it is recommended to bring 50-70 euros in cash. Some merchants can swipe apple pay, take photos after boarding the ship to record the time, to avoid subsequent disputes. If the weather is bad, charter services may be temporarily closed.

Many foreigners wear swimsuits on the boat diving, swimsuit photo effect is very good, remember to bring towels!

We rent a bare-shed pedal boat, which gives us a panoramic view and makes us less tired. About 2 hours round trip (including photo). If you have a slight exercise habit, it is perfectly fine, and two people pedal together. It will take at least 2 hours to finish (including taking photos).

Play advice
When boating, cross the bridge and pedal for another 20 minutes to see a small waterfall and beautiful scenery. If you feel tired, you do not need to row further, because the front scenery is similar.

Other notes

Do not drink too much water before rowing, you can wear slippers on the shore to play in the water to take photos. If you feel the wind on the bridge, bring long sleeves in case you catch cold
Pants and clothes should have zippers as far as possible, and be careful not to put mobile phones in pants pockets to avoid falling into the water. Pack as light as possible, a cell phone and change, sunglasses must have a photo concave shape.

The scenery inside the canyon is very good, peaceful and quiet, suitable for slow down to feel, the parking lot security is not a big problem, because they are to play, but the bag should be put in the trunk, the left side of the lake also has an open parking lot, the entrance is not very obvious may miss.
