The Nice Carnival is one of the largest and oldest carnivals in France and one of the best in the world! It is held every February in Nice, on the Mediterranean coast. Originating in medieval times, the festival has grown into a two-week extravaganza that attracts thousands of visitors from all over the world. It is as grand as the famous carnivals in Rio de Janeiro and Venice.

During the carnival, Nice will keep the whole population entertained through two weeks of night and day festivities. The streets of Nice are filled with dramatic parades of floats, giant masks and dancers in fancy dress. These parade vehicles are ornately decorated and uniquely designed, often around a different theme from year to year. One of the most famous events is the "Bataille de Fleurs" (Flower War), in which beautiful decorative floats drive slowly along the Promenade and their occupants throw flowers at spectators.

The theme for 2024 has been revealed - "Roi de la pop culture"! The colors, the fun costumes and the catchy music are dizzying.

The Nice Carnival is not only a visual feast, but also a great opportunity to experience the local culture and artistic expression. On Carnival night, the city becomes a sea of parties, filled with laughter and music in bars and clubs.

The day and night carnival parade brings together a variety of parade floats, passionate and cheerful music, colorful costumes and enthusiastic dancing, making the whole city seem to merge into a sea of joy.

Star Wars Stormtroopers patrol the streets, Marilyn Monroe drops in as Wonder Woman, Queen frontman Freddie Mercury sings, even the king's head is Pikachu and the Powerpuff Girls... Pop culture symbols collide here, and you can always find memories of your time.

👉Batailles de Fleurs Flower wars

The Battle of the flowers on the Promenade des Anglais is one of the world's best parades 💐 falling petals and a sea of colorful flowers are more lively than a summer beach. The artists used colorful flowers to decorate the float, not only inheriting the culture of Nis, but also integrating their personal artistic expression.

We're going to a flower fight! The parade lasts about an hour, and the route is filled with colorful flower floats on which the princesses will stand and throw flowers, most of which are mimosa (acacia), but also lilies and roses!

The float show opened, there was a long line outside, and after entering, it was always in the back row, and it was not easy to get to the front row and wave before finally taking over the princess's roses... 👉 Festivites de cloture Burning the King at the closing ceremony

The closing ceremony will conclude with the cremation of a large king figure and a seaside fireworks display 🔥 Fireworks will bring the Nice Carnival to its final climax!

The Lantern Festival is a large disco scene, dancing with Mario and grandpa, dancing and interacting with tall figures, interacting with little princesses, touching their heads with NPCS...
