The Fashion statement | Gabrielle Chanel is finally here! This exhibition is the first retrospective of Gabrielle Chanel's work in China. The exhibition is divided chronologically into two chapters, Manifesto I and Manifesto II, which show the works of Mademoiselle Chanel from the 1910-1930s, and after her return to fashion from 1954 to 1971. In addition to clothing, you can also see more than 200 valuable exhibits such as bags, magazines, perfumes, paintings, photography, jewelry and videos.

At the beginning of the 20th century, Chanel set off a revolution in the field of haute couture uniforms with its minimalist characteristics, liberating the female body of that era and forming her fashion statement. This exhibition interprets Xiang Grandma's aesthetic choice and pursuit of perfection from all aspects of clothing, jewelry, perfume and accessories.

Visitors will begin the "Chanel journey" from PSA's second floor platform, guided by the timeline, to the first exhibition area. Each exhibition area has a different design, reflecting the elegance and beauty of Chanel everywhere, but also a deeper understanding of the history of the brand.

The lighting of the whole venue is black, and the light pressure is very low, probably in order to meet the design details of more than 200 antique clothes.
