Stanley Park rental car ride around the island
Car Rental Tips:
- There are many bicycle rental shops on Denman Street near the entrance of the park, including electric bicycles and trailer trailers for pulling children
- We chose the first shop at the intersection: Spokes Bicycle Rentals. The three of us chose a City Hybrid and a Tandem. One of the sisters strongly recommended a tandem bike, and it turned out to be so cool that it completely freed my hands to sit in the back and take 360-degree photos and videos!
- The one we chose may not be the cheapest, but it's convenient. You can directly find the front desk to rent, or you can register a new user on the right hand machine at the door and then go to the front desk (if there are many people), students will also get a 20% discount!
Riding Guide:
After renting the car, go east across the street and walk 100 meters to see a sign, go left is the park cycling route.
The cycling time around the island is about 1.5-2 hours, from the road in Figure 2, ride along the red arrow on the figure to the coastal side riding, riding while playing, all the way to the bicycle path in front of the Second Beach in the lower left corner, there is a bridge, do not goon the bridge from the right, there is a hole under the bridge, turn left to enter, ride along the Lost Lagoon. I'll go back the way I started, push back to the rental car shop.
You can also go to the Lions Gate Bridge on the way, there is a viewing platform before the bridge, the feeling of riding on the bridge is very cool!

Science World Museum
Science world to walk the kids
Built on the edge of the bay, the huge grid dome resembles a giant golden chocolate ball. It is one of the landmarks of Vancouver and has appeared in many American TV series and movies. It is indeed a good parent-child place, I play quickly forget the existence of cubs, because there is an endless scientific interactive experience, scientific knowledge is so invisible in the play easily learned.
There are long-term and temporary exhibitions in the museum, mainly introducing the knowledge of water, light, sound, animals and environmental protection, and launching a series of puzzle games and experience projects. The amphitheater on the first floor is deeply loved by children, and there are special experimental performances in each time period, and you fall in love with science in the sound of surprise!
There are also special areas for babies to explore, perceive, and experience. So unconsciously happy to play four or five hours out of the science and technology museum, still in the aftertaste.

Sunset Beach
The seaside here is still so charming and attractive. On weekends, college students flock here to relax, lighting bonfires on the beach. The setting sun paints the sky and sea an enchanting orange. I really want to sit here quietly all the time, play a romantic music, and enjoy this wonderful weekend time with the people you like, when the tide is high the beach and the sunset into the sky is really unforgettable ~
The Van Dusen Botanical Garden
VanDusen's Christmas Light show is one of Vancouver's longest-running limited winter events. After a one-year suspension due to the epidemic last year, the "Festival of Lights" in VanDusen returned to people's attention this year, and continued the glory of previous years. More than a million lanterns adorn the 15-acre campus as a dreamy and romantic winter wonderland.
Arrived at 4:00 sharp, covered most of the area in about an hour. Until I left, I did not see the legendary carousel, and I do not know whether the project was canceled because of the epidemic. There was a long queue in the middle, but safety did not join it. If you have been recently can help to fill in.
The best time to enjoy the garden is definitely before and after the blues moment of the day, the sky is getting dark but not dark, whether it is on-site vision or photos will be more enjoyable.
There are restaurants and small food trucks at the entrance and inside of the park, so you can warm your stomach before dinner.
