The Werribee zoo really feels like it's entering Africa!

📍Werribee Open Range Zoo
Address: K Road, Werribee South VIC 3030
Opening hours: 9:00-17:00 daily, but last entry is 3:30pm.

Although it has been a bit cloudy in the city recently, I found that the haze in the city did not seem to affect the atmosphere of Werribee. From flinder train station, the train can go straight to Werribee station. The farther the train goes, the brighter the weather becomes, and the recent fatigue is swept away. Babies who want to relax, relax and play should not miss out.

The Safari tour is already included in regular tickets, but babies who want to get closer to the animals can try the Deluxe Safari.

We were doing deluxe safari, and there was a giraffe who was super curious about us and tried to poke his head into the car, but our Driver pulled us a little bit further away, and the giraffe was still very curious and circled around us.

Ostriches encounter the most on the road, they feel that the deer that loves to "idle" in the yard is more subtle, and they feel that they are far away from the car, which should be more timid. Hippos and rhinos are really like, have been lazily basking in the sun, but this close observation how I suddenly feel, rhinos than hippos grow slightly "handsome" a lost.

Babies who like animals can go to see more, we are working days, few people, 10 minutes to get on the car. Their Safari doesn't have a limit on how many times you can do it.

The park is divided into carnivorous, herbivorous and reptile areas. The park is open for sightseeing is herbivorous animal area, meat animal area is a quarantine net. The park is very large, you can visit for a long time, and there are some recreational facilities to play.

The Safari Bus is a tour bus that gives you a good view of the African savannah. Inside you can see giraffe, zebra, camel, hippo, antelope, eagle, buffalo, rabbit, ostrich and so on.

Animals for sightseeing on foot are: monkeys, ducks, snakes, geckos, tigers, leopards, gorillas, koalas, etc.

About Safari Bus

There are two kinds. The first is the free giraffe-print Bus, which is included in the ticket and has a total of 4 carriages with spacious seats. Will visit the herbivore park, without stopping in the middle, the whole journey is about 40-50 minutes.

Another option is a small zebra-print Bus that costs $59 per person. There will be a private guided tour of the herbivore park, but you can stop to observe the animals up close and take photos.

There's a restaurant where you can eat. It's white food. There are also small shops for ice cream and drinks. The park allows you to bring your own food, you can have wild vegetables on the lawn, and there are recreational facilities for children to play next to the lawn, such as slides and swings.
