About 20 minutes drive to the town, which retains the appearance of the early British landing on this land, beautiful natural scenery and indigenous culture blend together, the old town's quiet botanical garden and May flower boat are worth seeing.

Half a day with two children, we only visited the Puritan Museum, which introduced the history of 17th century Native Americans and British settlers in detail, and immersed ourselves in a completely different world in the town.

A variety of house furnishings, staff dressed to interpret a variety of plots, from fixing nails to weaving nets and repairing thresholds, a variety of operations our brother looked dumbstruck. And the authentic English accent is more like traveling than the bazaar haha!

Sitting in a large wooden boat, imagining that people used it to go from Boston to New York to Canada, the children in the living area were very curious and touched the fur of all the animals, specially asking the staff several times the names of the animals, and remembered them more clearly than I did. Because things are visible to children, they are more happy than playing in the market. If you have time, you can leisurely schedule a whole day to stroll around.

Bosch Museum of Great Beauty | The Fairy Garden that fell to Earth

The Most Beautiful Museum in Boston is a private museum, all of which belong to Isabella's private collection, including this Venetian-style castle museum.

Isabella bequeathed this stunning museum and all its collections to the public for education and enjoyment. The plants in the courtyard will be changed once every six weeks, and the atmosphere is different in different seasons

Photo tutorial:
The arch corridor stands in the middle of the photo is beautiful, sitting on the stool, through the arch to shoot the garden behind, the atmosphere is also very good. Look out of a second - or third-floor window and have the photographer walk across to shoot. It is also beautiful to let the photographer stand upstairs and take pictures of people reading books or admiring flowers downstairs.

The annual steampunk fair

Super happy to catch the annual "Steampunk Festival" in Waltham, living in Waltham for nearly three years, the first time to know about this event, it is a pity not to catch it before!

The event was held at Waltham Common, with booths and several stages. A lot of people wore Steampunk style clothes and felt like they were traveling through time for a while.

There are a lot of stalls, there are steampunk costumes, weapons, decorations, and all kinds of Vintage, food, etc... The stage performance is also colorful: watching an acrobatic show, the costumes of the actors and the audience sitting on the floor around me made me feel like I was really in the era and walked into the movie! The band performance also let me immerse! There's even a duel of fencing and some ancient weapons...

Five stars recommend this event! Here you can cosplay as some cartoon characters, or as a tourist to simply experience this interesting culture. You can go to the market, picnic, petting dogs, very suitable for friends and families to come together ~ next year's Mother's Day, quickly put on your Steampunk clothes to cross it ~
