Peterson Automotive Museum (Peterson Automotive Museum) is one of the largest automotive museums in the world, located in the Miracle Mile business district of Los Angeles.

📕 History:
Peterson Automobile Museum was founded in 1994 by American magazine publisher Robert E. Peterson and his wife.
In 2014, the museum was closed for a $125 million renovation until it reopened in 2015. The new building, designed by American firm KPF Architects, is painted red with a silver corrugated stainless steel exterior.

🕋 Exhibition Hall and Collection:
Peterson Car Museum covers an area of nearly 30,000 square meters, the collection of more than 350 cars from 1886 to the present, through the temporary exhibition of the occasional change of exhibits, each display of about 150 cars, including Hollywood movie cars, classic antique cars and future concept cars.

The museum has 25 galleries on three levels and features the Disney/Pixar Automotive Mechanics Institute, which offers interactive exhibits to help visitors understand the mechanical systems of the car. The exhibition hall of the building focuses on showing the artistic value of cars, displaying a number of luxury cars with exquisite craftsmanship; With the theme of "industry", the exhibition hall introduces scientific theories related to automotive industry engineering, and visitors can experience Forza racing cars in a driving simulator. The building showroom focuses on Southern California's automotive culture, while the Hollywood showroom focuses on cars from well-known movies, TV shows and movie stars.

🎬 Important exhibits include Lightning McQueen from "Cars", the Ford GT40, the champion of the "24 Hours of Le Mans", the Jaguar XKSS run by Hollywood star Steve McQueen, the black Batmobile (Batman) from the movie "Batman Returns" and so on.

The basement houses more than 200 iconic cars from around the world, including cars from the turn of the 20th century, special cars for heads of state, award-winning high-speed refits, innovative cars and more. Basement Tours require an additional ticket ($25), and children under the age of 10 are not allowed.
