Walk with me through the streets of New Orleans

I went to New Orleans a few weeks ago and it happened to be the French Quarter festival. It was full of people listening to the music festival. NOLA really has a vibe unlike any other place in North America!

It is suggested that you must also go to the French Quarter to see, with colorful and retro European architecture, carved railings, flowers and plants, the production rate of 100%, and you can also find a lot of exquisite retro gifts, which is very memorable. Take in a jazz concert at Bourbon Bar Street when you're not busy, have a few drinks, and don't be too leisurely.

In addition, New Orleans not only has the atmosphere of the city, but also the beautiful scenery of the marshes, deep in the marshes, you can see crocodiles, wild pigs, raccoons and other animals that are not normally seen!

New Orleans Attractions:

1. Oak Alley Plantation

New Orleans is a very famous plantation, it feels like a lot of people come to these two rows of oak trees, it is really beautiful. The big house tour will explain the origin and history of the plantation, and also have the opportunity to take a panoramic view from the second floor observation deck. After the end, I went to see the log cabin and the history on the other side of the park, and my heart became very heavy and I stopped taking photos.

The plantation is about an hour's drive from the city, you can choose to rent a car yourself or sign up for a tour and take the bus they provide.

2. French Quarter

I spent the evening in the French Quarter, fulfilling a little dream I had in the years I spent chasing original vampires. There are not many people in the light rain, and you can imagine the spectacle when the weather is good. However, it is better for girls to travel together, there are still some disturbing people and things in.

Experience New Orleans' unique city walk in The French Quarter, recommended by The LaBranche House,St. Louis Cathedral and Jackson Square. There are busking shows everywhere along the road, as well as many restaurants and bars. But the experience at night will indeed be less safe, and it is best to travel with a partner.

3. Preservation Hall

In addition to eating 🦪 in New Orleans, of course, listen to the birthplace of jazz live! Preservation hall has been booked online in advance. Unlike the bars in Bourbon Street, Preservation Hall belongs to jazz only. It does not provide wine and food, and no photos or videos can be taken during the performance.

The interior was small, with no Windows and only two open doors. The house was old so there was no air conditioning. It relied on slow-moving overhead fans. In the alarmingly hot New Orleans summer, this packed room could be described as a sauna. But when the music starts, you'll forget all about the difficult situation! Whether it is the music itself, or the atmosphere of the scene, it is so worthwhile.

Next door is an old speakeasy bar, Pat O 'Brien's, which is also a great experience.

4. Cajun Encounters Tours

Booked a swamp tour with Cajun Encounters Tours. Take a boat tour or Kayak yourself. However, thinking of taking a vacation from work, I chose to take a boat to enjoy the scenery of the swamp, and also saw many wild animals and crocodiles.

Super surprise tour, one and a half hour captain takes everyone to swamp to see crocodiles, raccoons, turtles, the captain will personally feed the crocodiles so you can see the crocodiles up close. The captain would also take out a small crocodile for everyone to touch, and finally we asked if we could hold the crocodile and the captain took it out for us to hold it.

Crocodile belly is very soft hahahaha Besides, I also went to the Garden District for a walk in the rich area, you can enjoy the southern style of the house.

Food:

Tastee: Their beignet is delicious, and the fried chicken wings taste like nothing I've ever tried before.

Sam's southern eatery: Looks like a fast food restaurant but in fact the meal speed is very slow, fried oysters fried chicken wings fried okra fried fish are good, the main is a fried, just eat very good, eat too much also greasy.

thaihey Nola: A lot of people recommend this one but I think it's salty. All restaurants in New Orleans are salty, especially gumbo. Fried eggplant is delicious but greasy. Last day the family had a physical aversion to fried food.

Drago's is a very surprising restaurant, the grilled oysters are very good, the wait for an hour is very worth it, the taste of alligator tacos is usually a novelty, alligator meat is very chewy.
