A day trip to the museum

Asian Art Museum

The museum houses more than 2,000 objects spanning more than 6,000 years of history. You will see a variety of sculptures, paintings, old photographs and decorative art objects made of silver, jade, ivory and other rare materials. If you want a multimedia experience, download free audio guides in Mandarin and Cantonese from iTunes or Google Play.

The Asian Art Museum has collaborated with the Hubei Provincial Cultural and Cultural Museum System to present the Phoenix Land: Zeng Chu Art Exhibition from the Bronze Age. The exhibition includes more than 150 artifacts. Mainly bronze, including lacquer, jade and so on.

It is recommended to attend the 11 o 'clock and 3 o 'clock presentations (approximately 1 hour). The docent introduced the exhibits from 5 different museums in Hubei Province to show the culture, religion and worship of the pre-Qin Zeng State and Chu State. The Chu culture worshipped the phoenix, and phoenix patterns appeared in large numbers, which is also the origin of the name of this exhibition.

The exhibition includes a number of "national treasure" exhibits: Shang Dynasty Chongyang bronze drum, tiger bird drum and so on. The most impressive thing is the Yuewang sword (Picture 10)- after thousands of years, the writing on the sword is still shining. The bronze antler crane is super beautiful, full of details, and you can see different details from every Angle. A pair of antlers form a perfect circle. Lamenting the exquisite craftsmanship of the ancients thousands of years ago, and the advanced aesthetic beyond time and space.

The exhibition continues until July 22, this level of exhibition is too difficult, and the picture is not one thousand, very recommended to see.
general adimission $30. You can buy tickets in advance on the official website of the Asian Art Museum or on site. Do not understand this aspect, dare not say nonsense.

Diyang Art Museum

The de Young Museum in Golden Gate Park is a landmark museum that houses American art from the 17th to 20th centuries, a variety of textile art, and many works of art from Africa, Oceania and the Americas.

The museum's American art collection, ranked among the top 10 in the country, covers the entire history of African and Native American art, including paintings, sculptures, and decorative arts. Its African collection is an excellent showcase of the artistic richness and diversity of sub-Saharan Africa. The museum also offers traveling exhibitions, so there's always something new to discover whenever you visit.

As Hemingway said, the coldest winter is summer in San Francisco! If you meet the fog, it is really cold! However, this De Young Museum (Di Yang Art Museum) is still super recommended, worth blowing cold wind in the past! It's one of the few art galleries that makes me slow down and look at portraits.

Each portrait is accompanied by a romantic poem, like the background music in an art film, which plays a wonderful atmosphere for the viewer standing in front of each portrait, and then the next one is a different one. It is located in Golden Gate Park, one of the largest urban parks in the United States.

Unlike New York's Central Park, there are many attractions. Golden Gate Bridge, Asian Art Museum, California Science Museum, Japanese Tea Garden, etc. It's really a great place to walk your kids on your day off, take a walk in the fresh air, and embrace nature. The main is a relaxed casual stroll around the rhythm, so really relaxed to the mood. But after walking all day is really tired ah, after returning home directly Ge you lie.
