Secret Utah 🍄 Check it out! Giant "morels" forest

Into a forest of pure white mushrooms

In the desolate Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, there is a field of pure white hoodoos. Unlike the typical red landscape around it, the Wahweap Hoodoos are also called White Ghost Hoodoos because of their ghostly white color.

I accidentally saw someone else's sharing on Instagram and immediately joined Utha's journey. Walking in front of these hoodoos, it was amazing. As white as snow, each hoodoos, large or small, wore a dark flat cap. Actually white mushroom body (Pleurotus eryngii?) It's 160,000-year-old Entrada sandstone, very soft, like powdery sand.

The dark flat cap is 150-million-year-old Dakota sandstone, which is harder in texture than Entrada sandstone. Over thousands of years of erosion, the soft Entrada sandstone has slowly formed its white spires.

Hoodoos has three areas, with group 3 being the most spectacular. There are two ways to get here:
Method 1: Take The Wahweap Hoodoos Trail. 10.4 miles round trip, see Alltrails for details.
Method 2: Google White Ghost Hoodoo. Drive a high-terrain vehicle 12 miles of unpaved gravel and mud road (cottonwood canyon rd/rd7010/rd7050) to trailhead at the riverbed. Do not park beyond the wilderness study area. Then hike 1 mile along the dry riverbed to wahwap hoodoos group 3. Do not take this route on rainy days or when there is water on the ground, the car is easily trapped inside and cannot get out.

Matters needing attention
The road is Impassable When Wet‼ ️ The weather is unpredictable in summer, so please assess the risk of rain carefully. There was almost no signal, and we didn't meet anyone the whole way. It is recommended to download the offline map.

We tried to go to the Kanab visitor center to ask about the road conditions, and the staff said that it was not clear, but told us that it had not rained in a week and it was no problem to drive. It is best to consult the visitor center before departure.

There is no shade throughout, pay attention to sun protection, and be careful to go to high temperature exposure in summer. I don't know if it's only in June, but when we were walking along the riverbed there were a lot of bugs and they stung us very badly. White sandstone is very soft, go friends must be careful to protect them.

Wineries around Los Angeles - Making your own drinks is fun

Today I would like to share with you my super fun winery trip in Temecula, California! Visitors to this winery can try a wide range of wines, from refreshing whites to rich reds! And best of all, you can book your own bartending experience.

I participated in the bartending process myself. It was so much fun! From the selection of grape varieties to the blending ratio, every step makes me feel like a professional bartender! I managed to make a unique wine and feel very satisfied! And, to my great surprise, I was able to take home my own wine.

In addition to the wine, the scenery here is also fantastic! The vineyard and the mountains are set against each other, making people feel relaxed and happy! If you are also interested in wine, be sure to come here and experience it for yourself!
