Gilroy Gardens, baby's paradise! It's also a paradise for adults!

Taking advantage of Memorial Day off, I went to Gilroy Gardens Family Theme Park. Gilroy Garden is definitely a playground for little kids, and the rides are small enough that even children of one or two years old can play quite High. Banana Pirate Ship, Strawberry Cruise, Garlic cruise, Caterpillar eating apple Cart, duck pedal Boat, Steam Train, Water Park, hot air balloon cruise, Purple Ferris wheel..... There are so many small entertainment facilities, my baby can not come out of the afternoon.

It's good for grown-ups, and it's good for people like me who don't really like exciting rides. Before I saw Gilroy's garlic truck grass, and bought the garlic toy that I was longing for. It is a day of garlic head ecstasy ah, the items inside are fruits and vegetables theme, very lovely, deep my heart haha ~ want to take photos of the collection can rush!

A Great America gold pass($1601, including free parking) with access to Gilroy Garden in addition to Great America is great value for money! Everything is included in the annual pass except the parking ticket, which requires an additional payment.

It is indeed a famous scenic spot for walking children in the Bay area, and as expected, there are little babies in it. On average, each project needs to queue 30min-1hr, depending on the popularity of the project. eg. It takes 1.5hr on the yellow duck boat, and about 20min on the small roller coaster.

After entering the garden a lot of shade, but yesterday the temperature of 29 degrees, there is no wind, walking in the garden is really very stuffy. There are many kinds of rides, such as carousels, hot air balloons, Ferris wheels, small trains, swan boats, waterfalls, rafting, water parks (remember to bring swimsuits and big towels). Although slightly old, but the shape is very dreamy, the degree of stimulation is also very low, as they say: very suitable for small children.

We arrived late in the afternoon, so we didn't play much. The three and a half year old daughter likes hot air balloons most, and the waterfall is also very fun; Garlic twirl is so-so, but the shape is very cute and the photos are great; The rafting line is slightly longer, the whole process is completely smooth, and children who like stimulation can skip this one. When I went home in the evening to look at the photos, my daughter found that the waterpark, swan boat, and Ferris wheel that I photographed did not play, pointed out to me one by one, and asked me to play, such a small baby can actually remember what he played and did not play today, it is too cute!

Many kids can ride. The longest lines are for trains and paddle boats. After waiting for the train for a while, we found that it was too long, so we went to the fast lane, and we also waited for more than 10 minutes to take the fast lane. When we were walking, we heard someone say that we had waited for more than two hours, and the paddle boat did not see the fast lane, and only when someone came back to return the boat, we gave up this time. It feels like a loss. A boat can seat two people, parents with children will have one person can not play). The rest of the fast lanes are not very useful.

A lot of kids come here mainly to play in the water, which is perfect in the summer. It seems that there are two places in the garden, we only went to one place, the baby can not walk, play a lot of fun. There was a shallow swimming pool, and the lifeguard next to her was super responsible, scanning the children in the pool, from left to right, from far to near, over and over again, one by one for danger.

The most favorite is rainbow garden round boat ride, in the garden around the scenery is very good, followed by the hot air balloon, turn up the breeze is really a hot air balloon feeling. The most looking forward to but the experience is very bad Ferris wheel, my baby is very happy when it moves to stop when it will make a fuss, we are the first group to go up, every three carriages will stop up and down, a stop he refused to sit, struggling at altitude, nervous and laborious. If you do, bring something to eat to calm you down. It's a nice view up there.

Overall very like, the garden is very green and shade, the garden is not big and easy to walk around. A little far from the South Bay one way 50 minutes just let the baby nap in the car, at present he does not object to the car, it is quite suitable, no special plan on the weekend ready to go again!
