The Twilight Falls were shot here!

Portland is only 3 hours away from Seattle by car, and the attraction of the tax-free state (who can refuse to buy without tax?) I believe it must be the choice of many small friends for weekend excursions. This article will recommend places suitable for two-day trips to Portland, each with super characteristics! Hurry up and find a chance to go

✈️Airplane Home
Address: 15270 SW Holly Hill Rd., Hillsboro, OR 97123

The entrance is unremarkable and looks like a random street sign, but walking in feels very shocking, like a scene from an apocalyptic movie. This is a bit of a niche in Portland, but also the most attractive place for us - the plane home. Yes, you heard right, this is a real aircraft-turned-home!

It was converted from a retired Boeing 727 and was owned by Bruce Campbell, a former engineer with a keen interest in transformation and innovation, as well as a curiosity about the structure and design of aircraft, which inspired him to turn an abandoned aircraft into a home. Bruce is not only an innovator but also a practitioner, having been personally involved in the design and renovation of the Aircraft Home.

He now lives in the plane all year round and welcomes guests from all over the world. The plane is free for everyone, and you can also take photos, video, and fly drones. If you're curious about the inside, Grandpa will personally take you inside the plane to tour the facilities and tell you his story. Grandpa will also teach you how to climb to the top of the plane. There's also Grandpa's cute cat on the planeAirplane Home also has its own website where interested friends can search directly for Airplane Home, which is located about a half-hour drive from downtown Portland.

💦Multnomah Falls

Drive there. It has two parking lots. Never been there so the guide went to the parking lot on the bridge next door. You need a ticket to get from the bottom of the bridge to the falls. The tickets were sold out when we got there at 12:00 until 3:00. So we drove straight to another parking lot. A lot of people, and then just when we arrived, there was a car leaving, we stopped, although said no tickets, but parking tickets 💲20.

It's going to take about 45 minutes. It's one way to go and one way down. Your back is sweaty on the way up. Make sure you bring water and snacks. At first it will be very close to the waterfall, so it will be cool and comfortable, and soon we will be on the bridge. It's hard to keep going but it's really happy and satisfying to get to the top. It's a lot easier to get down and you're down there in no time.

There's ice cream, coffee, snacks and, of course, the gift shop. It has a restaurant, which is nice. It's just a little expensive, but that's the way it is.

This is the most famous attraction in Portland, is a two-level super high waterfall, said to be one of the highest waterfalls in Oregon, and very convenient, get out of the car and walk a few minutes to the front of the waterfall to enjoy the close. It is said that Twilight is the most shot in the city of Po Falls!

🏛️Vista House at Crown Point
📍47000 Historic Columbia River Hwy, Corbett, OR 97019
Here is a museum, his most attractive is that he is located on the top of the mountain plus the unique circular road, as well as its own octagonal architectural shape, make him look thief cool! The perfect place to watch the sunset and the scenery along the way is also beautiful! Google Maps sometimes shows closed because there is an old castle, but you can watch the sunset without going into the castle, so you don't care if Google Maps is close or open.

Photos or winter to take, the mountain is still cold ah! Not only wearing a sweater in the photo, but immediately wrapped down in 🥲 leather pants and fleece leggings haha.

But unfortunately, when we went there, the wind on the mountain was really strong enough to blow people flying, and it is not an exaggeration to say that we could not move forward in the wind and felt unable to breathe. So, naturally, he couldn't take off the drone, and he was just minutes away from the Multnomah falls, so they could clock in together. And there was a wedding!

Cannon Beach

Cannon Beach is most famous for the beach's iconic giant rock, the Chinese name is Haystack rock, and as its name, the stone really looks like a huge haystack. The sand on the beach is fine, perfect for strolling with family and friends, and perfect for bringing the dog! This strange landscape has also made the small town of Cannon Beach a popular movie location.

I have come to Cannon Beach three times this year, and each time I can take a different Haystack Rock, which is a very popular place. Haystack Rock is a giant rock that sits in the middle of the beach and is home to a number of Marine animals, and is visited by tourists from Portland every weekend.

It's about a four-hour drive from Seattle, so it's a good idea to stay here and walk on the beach at sunset. Summer accommodation here is relatively expensive, but the owners are in the second half of the year to go so feel the price is acceptable. Parking near the beach is very difficult during peak travel season, and public parking lots are always crowded.

🌊Trillium lake
The beautiful lake at the foot of the snow mountain, super close to Mt Hood, driving all the way to feel the snow mountain on the face, catch up with the lake is very quiet when really beautiful.

The highlight of the whole journey, I think, is trillium lake, where there are dogs and their owners, two children at kayaking on the left, and a couple at paddlebroad on the right. The background is snowy mountains, green trees, and the lake is absolutely amazing. With families fishing and hiking and walking their dogs on both sides, it's just so nice. oregon is so beautiful, I would visit this lake again if I had the chance!
