Re: How do I get e-text from Kerberos error? 843810 Jun 18, 2008 2:57 PM (in response to 843810) KrbException.getError() returns a null for me unfortunately! I tried the following, but the KrbException doesn't seem to have any appropriate method to extract this: try { token = context.initSecContext(token, 0, token.length); } catch (org.ietf.jgss.GSSException e) { System.out.println(e.getMessage()); KrbException Tickets Menu > Get Tickets > Realms. Since Java supportrs kerberos thru the JGSS-API, these Krb*** classes are internal and cannot be regarded as APIs.

This is the 1st time I am experiancing and issue with KDC out of 10 OS X servers I run. You must at least be aware of the edu.mit.Kerberos file as you would be dealing with this every day as users renew their service tickets. You have a lot of good information but your coming accross like we are all idiots. Can you give a little more context around this ? If you see nothing listed then there is no KDC providing tickets.Launch Server Admin > AFP > Settings > Access and select Standard or Any Method if it has been set I tested that wrapping the dynamic-db element provided by bind-sdb could be wrapped by a "view 'test'" scope and it works fine, so it seems that it could be hacked together so when you issue the kinit command you don't get something like this?
