Is it safe to use the range top or should we leave the breaker off for the weekend until we can get a tech on Monday? You can not check the EOC instrumentally. I have used the oven but not for a few days. If this is your first visit, be sure to check out the FAQ by clicking the link above.

John // Apr 7, 2015 at 2:06 pm Hi Gene, I pulled the EOC and the keypad is held on by double sided glue, it is a two piece. In such situation I'll need the complete model number of the oven. Jake I had no problems for the last 8 months. The display should be blank.

P.S. I checked and reset the breaker only to have the oven (316233850) alarmed and locked the door like it was going into the clean. All of the touch screen buttons still work, so should I be concerned? F10 is a common error code for several manufacturers that appears when your oven exceeds the temperature you set it at in either the cook cycle or the clean cycle.

It appears I do have a separate power/relay board, EOC board and a power supply board. My range is a CEW30ef6gsc. This particular control panel was designed for this model only. Check wiring in probe circuit for possible open condition.

Sounds like the EOC is the culprit. There suppose to be one more letter at the end. Look up your model to make sure you get the right parts for your range. With the diagnostics above, I was able to pretty quickly determine that the EOC was bad.
