frigidaire stove pf error Shepherdstown, West Virginia

Gene. This happens every time and we have used different oven thermometers in case one was defective. I still get the PF error in exactly the same spot, but if I run the water/service test it gets through all 8 steps without a failure now. You may want to start the troubleshooting from testing the temperature probe resistance. Thank you in advance, Steve Gene // May 16, 2015 at 6:25 pm Hello SteveB, You may want to check the wires between the temperature probe and the EOC. If there is no continuity, the heating element is the culprit. Thank you for stopping by. George Gene // Dec 19, 2014 at 1:01 pm Hi George, You are welcome and thank you for the feedback. I worked as an appliance tech for 13 years just to let you know my qualifications on repair (3 for Frigidaire corp.) I am very frustrated with this Frigidaire range as This can be either circuit breaker or fuses.

Gene. Thus if any of them failed, the whole heating element would need to be replaced. You can get it from for $558.91. In order to provide most accurate advise I need the complete model number of the oven.

Sounds like the EOC is the culprit. I managed to push them back into the cap, and we were able to reconnect it to the EOC board, but at least one of them broke off. Locate the P5 connector at the EOC and remove two violet wires from pins 12 and 13. I do know that PF stands for “power fail”.

Thanks again and happy New Year! I do have several boards. Gene. The temperature sensor part number 316217002 The relay board part number 316429800 This part is on back order.

Now that seems common, but here is where the strange part comes in, the beeping and error. It is giving F11 error. Try to push cancel and then push clock and set the clock. I replaced the clock and the burners worked but the clock would not clear the PF code.

I have spent lots of time researching my issue and can not find anyone else describing this particular problem. Keep me posted. Thanks. Gene. Valerie // Sep 7, 2015 at 8:00 am Hello again Gene! There are no a separate keyboard or keypad on your range.

I checked the resistance on the probe's bare wires and it reads 1099 ohms. The part number for the EOC is 316557115 The part number for the latch motor assembly is 316464300 Good luck. Get blinking clock on EOC and "PF" suggesting power failure. Remove the power to the range by turning off the corresponding circuit breakers prior to do any job.

In such situation you may want to check the wires from the EOC to the temperature probe to make sure there is nothing wrong.
