it's the FOLDER you're burning to CD or DVD. Restart computer. Remember, next time you get a fixation error, before doing anything else, check Windows Explorer and see what FOLDER is highlighted. XP 64 bit?

Try choosing Save as Disc Image and then burning the disc image using the Image File setting in the Toast Copy window. For whatever reason, Nero (in my case) will NOT complete the cd/dvd if the source folder is being accessed by Windows Explorer.

Have you tried to burn the disk with simulation first? (simulation will not fail if its the drive's fault) If the source is good, then i assume you don't burn much... I can find no ryhme or reason. Also, can someone please recommend another cd burning program if I don't get this figured out soon I'll have to boot Nero off my machine.
