Specifically we have experienced issues with the Xerox 5065II and Apeos 5540. I'm too busy right now to mess with that. If there is no better answer, I probably will try your suggestion when I have more time. Register Help Remember Me?

The EFI update did resolve their original issue. I am afraid to change it for fear of causing more trouble than I have now. There were so many complaints about the problem on the Apple site, but no mention of creating a new account as a cure. It will take ony 5 minutes to do it and if it not worked, it will take 3 minutes to cancel it..

But it seems to me that it ought to give a clue as to what is wrong. So I would like to get the problem completely cured once and for all. One other thing I tried is to run InDesign using Rosetta, but when I did it crashed as soon as I chose the print option. What I tried (in order): I re-downloaded the most recent driver from the EFI site: KDC_PrintingSystem14_v2_0RBp_FD47_v1 (from April) I reapplied the 1.1 patch. When it fails, message is:The process "pictwpstops" stopped unexpectedly with Status 1I have another partition with OS 10.5.8, and it does NOT have this problem, everything prints.

Does not print. Just try the User Account and see that helps or not ! The cups fix cure for getting the printer drivers to work on 10.6.x simply doesn´t work. foomatic-rip is the part of this system which is a so called "filter", a program which has to look what to do with the printing data coming from the application which

Since then he's covered most of the company's major product releases and reviewed every major revision of iOS. Which might be the full load of the hpijs printing solution. My solution seems to work: I found the IP address of my printer and re-entered it as an IP device under Line Printer Demon using the PPD that had worked under The next time you start up or restart your computer, you will see the login window.

If I reboot, the problem is there again. Click here to download. It's the last problem, I have pretty well cured the others by long trial and error. OS X is telling me that the printer is paused, yet clicking resume does nothing.
