So, I installed Lilo, using it as the main boot loader and basically reworked the /etc/fstab file to refer to the hard drive partitions as /dev/sda and so forth, instead of Does Windows XP or RHEL boot up after that? Do not use auto repair as that will just install grub everywhere. The time now is 12:43 PM.

The time now is 05:43 PM. The install seemed to work correctly, but when the system needed to reboot as part of the install, the system went straight into Windows XP. And GNU GRUB is not so robust, causing many problems during boot. Also, note where I've got /dev/sda1 [tab] / [tab] ext4 and so on.
